Ammo ControlWith the advancement of non lethal ammunition we should push for legislation of live ammo restriction. Non lethal ammunition such as rubber bullets can be used for personal defense of self and home without violating the second amendment. Saving the lives of countless people if we can begin to push for live ammunition to be restricted to just hunters, shooting ranges, special police units(i.e. swat), and the military.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jon Bethea

Enough Cuts to the Courtlaw abiding citizens are getting punished by long delays in scheduling cases in civil court. We waited almost one year to have a non paying tenant ejected from our rental property. what about our rights to a speedy hearing? No more cuts to the court, enough is enough!1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nita D. McGee

Delta: don't steal my miles when I die!Are you a Delta SkyMiles member? If so, try not to die....ever. Delta has just quietly changed its frequent flier program for the second time in 2013. The new rules, as of March 2013, say "miles may not be transfered...upon death." However, the 2012 rule book states: "While the Miles expire upon a Member’s death, the Administrator or Executor of the Member’s Estate may request Delta reinstate and transfer the Miles from the deceased Member’s account to one or more members’ accounts." That paragraph is now gone. How can Delta do this after advertising "miles that don't expire" ?!!?! Stop the Corporate Owned, For Profit Immigrant Detention CenterThe City of Joliet is currently proposing building a corporate owned, for profit immigration detention center. If allowed, it would be Illinois' first and would make way for other similar facilities to be built in the state. Help us send a clear message that we don't appreciate deficit expanding, for profit, detention centers that overwork and underpay their employees and cut corners in medical care and proper treatment of their detainees.96 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard Rodriguez

Save the worldThe most effective procedure to destress oneself and reduce high blood pressure is optimal breath characterised by slow and deep breath. The Coherent breath has helped us on the Indian Railways to reduce train accidents attributable to failure of the human element by remaining vigilant at work and thus improve personal effectiveness and productivity. It is a cost effective procedure and is not liked by the medical profession since it does not promote sale of blood pressure reducing costly medicines.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by R.K.Palhan

Amend The Federal Reserve ActThis petition advocates creating new owners of future productive capital investment in businesses simultaneously with the growth of the economy and thereby broaden private, individual ownership of America's future capital wealth. We need to reform the Federal Reserve Bank to create new owners of future productive capital investment in businesses simultaneously with the growth of the economy. The solution to broadening private, individual ownership of America's future capital wealth requires that the Federal Reserve stop monetizing unproductive debt, including bailouts of banks "too big to fail" and Wall Street derivatives speculators, and begin creating an asset-backed currency that could enable every man, woman and child to establish a Capital Homestead Account or "CHA" (a super-IRA or asset tax-shelter for citizens) at their local bank to acquire a growing dividend-bearing stock portfolio to supplement their incomes from work and all other sources of income. Policies need to insert American citizens into the low or no-interest investment money loop to enable non- and undercapitalized Americans, including the working class and poor, to build wealth and become "customers with money." The proposed Capital Homestead Act would produce this result.49 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gary Reber

Stop health insurance profiteering!US health insurance companies operate as for-profit publicly traded companies, recently reporting record profits at the same time they deny coverage, rescind coverage, and deny claims. No other nation on the planet permits health insurance companies to profit from patient care (or lack thereof). It is the wrong model for our nation and needs to change!65 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Linda Goodwin

Uphold Governor Beshear's veto of HB 279Governor Beshear just vetoed HB 279, a bill that would have undermined civil liberties and allow for challenges to existing anti-discrimination Fairness laws in Covington, Lexington. Louisville, & Vicco that protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals from employment, housing, and public accommodations discrimination. Now it goes back to the House and Senate where a simple majority could override the governor's veto. Your signature on this petition will AUTOMATICALLY be delivered to your state representative and your state senator letting them know that you do not want them to override the governor's veto.1,883 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Keith Rouda

Immigration Reform: A Moral ResponsibilitySojourners, a national organization committed to faith in action for social justice, was shocked when Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions recently said there is no “moral or legal responsibility to reward somebody who entered the country [without documentation].” We know we must care for every human being, regardless of their documentation status. Immigration reform is not about politics. It is about the well-being of our communities, and we have a moral responsibility to fix the broken immigration system that is hurting our brothers and sisters. Both Republicans and Democrats agree that a solution should include a roadmap to citizenship for the 11 million aspiring Americans who are contributing to our society. Senator Sessions’ statement cannot go unchallenged. Tell the senator that you believe we have a moral responsibility to care about ALL our sisters and brothers.50 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Timothy King
