I am a Tennessee Registered Nurse, I have personally seen the sadness in the eyes of people that have not been able to meet their most basic healthcare needs and have had to go without necessary Doctors' appointments, medications, tests, and surgeries needed. My own son had an emergency surgery Feb. 25th and had to be at two hospitals. He works full time but cannot afford insurance and paying his basic bills on his minimum wage job as many Tennessee people cannot. "Accepting the Federal Funds to Expand Medicaid" will help the working poor. These are the people we know and love in our families and communities. Asking Governor Haslam and Tennessee legislators to support the expansion of Medicaid in Tennessee, by accepting the Federal Funds will benefit hundreds of thousands of the Tennessee people.Healthy people benefit us all in our society.

President Obama has selected Sally Jewell, the chief executive of REI, to replace outgoing Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, and for the sake of the American gray wolves, it can't happen fast enough. In the two years since Congress removed the wolves from the Endangered Species List, Salazar has already opened wolf hunting in four states, and there's talk in Washington that he's planning to remove protections for the wolves everywhere before he leaves office. Jewell seems likely to get the appointment, so we want to send her an advance welcome in the form of a plea to stop killing the wolves.

Governor Inslee and the House Democrats recently released a plan to help fund our kids' classrooms by closing unjust tax loopholes. Their plan would end tax breaks for Big Oil, out-of-state-shoppers, and big drug companies. This is a commonsense reform that's long overdue. Unfortunately, Senate Republicans cut funding for homeless kids, working families, and our most vulnerable seniors. But their budget was even more noteworthy for what it didn't do: they didn't close a single tax loophole. We know kids that are hungry, sick, or homeless can't learn. But special interest lobbyists are already gearing up to protect their special treatment by forcing legislators to choose between education and health care. We need our Senators to join the House and Governor Inslee standing up to special interests and putting our kids first!

The reason a lot of this violence is occurring at an alarming rate is because the government cut funding for these facilities. Please take the time to revisit and bring these facilities back.

Unless the May Avenue bridge over Northwest Highway (State Highway 3) is replaced in the very near future a catastrophe will occur.

My husband and I were recently working on our Health Care Directives and began thinking about how wonderful it would be if our state allowed doctor-supervised use of marijuana to ease the suffering of people in the final stages of their lives.

North Carolina has just started to see the benefits of developing a renewable energy economy. Over the last five years, North Carolina ranks second, behind only California, in terms of the number of jobs created in the clean energy sector. We have a goal of getting 700,000 solar rooftops by 2030. Let's make that goal a reality by making sure Gov. Pat McCrory knows there is overwhelming support for clean energy and that we want him to help North Carolina "Go Solar!"

I lost my job, because of this law. I put 5 yrs into this company, and didnt get any recognition for what i did, but get bullied by my manaager and the human resources manager as well. This law is bad for the employee. Make it a level playing field!!

Please put Georgians to work. Stop being partisan and realize that you govern all people

States should not be allowed to divide electoral votes. Laws should be passed to prohibit this.
