When Governor Kasich took office he took away our right to have union representation. In doin that he took away our right to bargain for better health care and he cut the pay of 7,000 Independant Home Health Care Aids along with Independant Day Care Workers. Since Governor Kasich says the state of Ohio is doing so well I'd like him to restore our pay. Cutting our pay by 26% he's cause a LOT of hardship for a lot of Independant Home Health Care Aids and their families. A lot of us used to spend some of that money on our clients, which we haven't been able to do.

Wage theft affects millions of Americans across this country. From Blue collar workers to white collar executives. It is also a subject many want to ignore. Many of these employers like to cut corners competing and don't want to pay taxes. They also don't want to take financial responsibility and go down with the ship when they start having problems with their business. Oftentimes they need all the help they can get so they get their employees to invest into the company without the employees permission. They don't pay their employees on a regular basis. They continuously lie to their employees. Many of these employers belong in jail. I know because I was one of those employees. Make these employers pay because the employees shouldn't have too. It is just good business.

Verizon routinely steals the PAID-FOR data of its customers simply because they can't use their data without going over their allotment plan. For instance, I regularly must NOT use about 350 Megabytes of my PAID-FOR data at the end of the month, in order to avoid getting charged a $15 penalty for going even 1 kilobyte over my plan. This data disappears forever because Verizon does not rollover this unused data to the next month. This is made worse because Verizon's data reporting is delayed by over 12 hours, and a customer can only roughly estimate their actual data usage.

The residents of Marbella Lakes and surrounding communities are opposed to the Whippoorwill Road extension. Although we were advised that this plan was designed to help the local area, we feel it will do much harm. There's a restaurant in Buckhead, Atlanta (Lenox area) called Dante's Down the Hatch which is a cultural gem. It has antique cars outside, a pirate ship inside with a steering wheel for kids, is zagat rated, and has been around for a while. It is being priced out of the area by raising land value making the taxes that of a 15-story office building, even though it's a restaurant. Millions of elderly, disabled and poor people are about to lose their homes because of Republicans' refusal to end unjust tax loopholes, off-shore havens, etc., and subsidies for the wealthiest Americans and corporations. It is estimated that the revenue these obscene loopholes, off-shore havens and subsidies are depriving the American people of would generate more than enough to avert the upcoming sequester.

Companies like Monsanto are using Hawaii as a testing ground for their genetically modified organism (GMO) experiments. Due to Hawaii's remote location and year-round growing season, these companies believe we are the perfect place for these tests to occur, because if something were to go wrong, its effects would be contained here. We will not stand to be used by genetic engineering companies for their profit any longer. Get GMO test crops out of Hawaii.

Suction Dredging is an enviromently friendly form of mineral extraction and contributes to the benefit of Oregon economy. California has a Temporary ban on dredging and as such has lost 100's of small businesses and put many families in financal ruin. The lies put forth about dredging are just that, Science has proven over and over that Suction dredging causes little harm. Science also states facts that relate possible benefits to fish including Salmon. Oregon Tax payers pay nothing for cleanup after lawfull Suction Dredging operations, since there is no cleanup.
