• It’s time. Ban fracking now!
Big Oil & Gas keeps trying to lock us into a dirty future powered by fossil fuels -- a future with more fracked gas power plants, pipelines, compressor stations, processing plants, and dangerous storage facilities. No thanks. The only way to a truly clean, renewable energy future is to ban fracking and to stop all new fossil fuel development. We need you with us to make that happen. Take action today!

  • Leave Undeveloped Lots on Cathy Lane
We are a close knit community, who love to plan events. We would like to utilize this spot for large events so as not to require blocking off streets. Street blockages cause traffic problems and safety concerns. This space is centrally located in the neighborhood and is much more easily accessible than the “green space” in the back of the subdivision behind houses. In addition, WE LOVE GREEN SPACE. These lots are the only two TRUE empty lots left that could easily be enjoyed by everyone. We, the community, will beautify these lots and take control of the upkeep. This lot being empty will attract buyers who are more hopeful for grassy and green areas. Ultimately, Dr Horton will have happier residents and buyers- leading to better results on surveys from recent purchases of these lots are left open. This will be a major satisfaction factor for the people of this subdivision. DR Horton developers, please leave this land alone!

  • Tell Sen. Gardner to protect the Affordable Care Act
March 23rd marks the 10th ANNIVERSARY of the passage of the life-saving Affordable Care Act (ACA). But today, the legislation that helped give thousands of Coloradans health care coverage is under attack. But we’re not going to let our elected officials like Senator Cory Gardner turn back the clock. The ACA has brought a world of difference to Colorado. Colorado’s uninsured rate dropped significantly. Insurers in the individual market could no longer drop, deny, or charge you more for coverage because of a pre-existing condition. That’s particularly important for the nearly 2.4 million Coloradans living with a pre-existing health condition. And because of the ACA, more seniors are able to afford their prescription drugs and some of the most vulnerable Coloradans gained health coverage due to the statewide Medicaid expansion. But 10 years after it passed, the ACA is at risk — and we need our leaders like Senator Cory Gardner to start defending it. Senator Gardner has repeatedly stated he would protect our access to health care, particularly for people with pre-existing positions. Instead, he voted four times to repeal the Affordable Care Act in the Senate and has done nothing to stop this reckless lawsuit. Sign this petition and tell Senator Cory Gardner to protect the ACA. Coloradans' lives depend on it and we won’t go back!

  • Reform The New Michigan Auto Law
Several new sections written into the new law are going to have devastating retroactive consequences for current auto injury survivors that have been receiving care for many years. Several sections are going to make drastic negative changes in the way these patients are going to receive their care in the future. The New Michigan Auto Law makes drastic cuts to the reimbursement rates to almost every company providing services to current auto injury survivor’s and ones in the future. These cuts are as large as 50% and directed at small and large businesses in the healthcare industry. Currently, healthcare organizations make up 32 percent of the top 25 companies in the State of Michigan. These drastic cuts will lead to Michigan Healthcare Workers losing hundreds of thousands of jobs. The majority of small businesses serving auto injury survivor’s will be out of business. If you work or know someone who works for one of these types of businesses, you should be concerned about your future. Here’s an example of a few types of healthcare businesses that will be affected: Home Care Companies Case Managers Hospitals Rehabilitation Centers & Offices Attorneys Medical Supply Companies Doctors Offices Physical and Occupational Therapy Several other sections written into the new law address the increased liability you will now be taking on by reverting back to the tort system. You could now be responsible to pay another families medical bills resulting from a car crash for the rest of their life. Or you might have to go through the trouble of having to sue someone else to try and get your medical bills paid for. Either way is not good. Because of all of this increased liability, we are now going to have to carry a much greater amount of liability insurance that will increase our premiums and offset the savings from giving up our right to lifetime care for our family resulting from a car crash. Reforms are needed to the New Michigan Auto Law. Please sign our electronic form and show your support for reform.

  • Petition: Nominate Stacey Abrams as Vice President
Southern state Democrats have been consistently left out of the Presidential campaign trail despite of these being some of the most diverse states in the country. Stacey Abrams is the most prominent national voice fighting voter suppression and advocates for our concerns, particularly affecting people in the South.

  • Class Action Suit - Health Insurance Companies
Every day millions of patients with medical issues or patients who need necessary procedures are denied proper coverage by their health insurance providers. The patient/s are forced to use less effective drugs or go without due to the fact that they cannot afford the cost. My question is - under what basis do they have the right to tell you which drug or procedure they will pay for? The effective results are the insurance companies are dictating care and practicing medicine without a license. Insurance companies should not be allowed to lessen a persons quality and longevity based on their profitability. Every month the insurance providers take billions of dollars from consumers and then refuse coverage due to their desire to maximize unfair and exorbitant profits. Please help me be David in this David and Goliath fight!!

  • Superdelegates Vote According to Will of the People
Our democracy is for sale. Superdelegates may be tempted to take dark money donations to vote for billionaire-sponsored candidates, denying true representational democracy to their constituents.

  • Tell Congress: Ban local subsidies for Amazon Ring!
Amazon wants to use your taxpayer dollars to fund the expansion of their private surveillance network known as Ring. It's already started in cities like Baltimore, but it’s not too late for you to stop handing public funds to Amazon and its creeping surveillance system. Amazon has already built Ring partnerships with around 400 US cities. But now they’re going even further by expecting local governments to use taxpayer dollars to subsidize their corporate profits -- and spy on your neighborhood. When paired with Amazon’s facial recognition service, Ring cameras will be able to identify anyone simply walking down the street, and then storing and sharing that data with law enforcement. Such as ICE agents. We need Congress to step in and stop this.

  • Please help the American people mobilize to resist a rising autocracy!
We are entering an incredibly perilous time for our democracy. The signs of creeping authoritarianism, and indeed, fascism, are everywhere. Robert Reich has pointed out that anti-democratic leaders and forces control every branch of government. In the last several days, we had, 1. Trump order the firing of Vindman and his brother; 2. Trump boast that he did this in retaliation; 3. Trump tweet suggest that the military consider disciplining Vindman; 4. Trump influence the Justice Department to change a sentencing recommendation for a Trump friend; 5. 4 AUSAs resign over the politicization of DOJ; 6. Trump boast about his power over DOJ; and 7. Trump intimidate and threaten an Article III Judge. I may be missing more, but each one of these is, in my view, a "triggering event" that should prompt an immediate and vitally necessary response to defend our democracy. As Masha Gessen teaches us, we cannot count on our institutions to save us. Instead, we must save them. There are no guardrails as our democracy careens toward the abyss, and we the people are the ultimate bulwark. The frog is nearly boiled, and the temperature is ratcheting up fast. We need leaders who have the megaphone, the institutional clout, and the organizational heft to help us take to the streets. We need MoveOn to do the thing it has done so well in the past and for which it is so well-suited: mobilize us before it's too late!
