Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. However, the President is doing this through his regulatory agency.

The constant rhetoric of radical gun lobbyists is stopping the rational implementation of common sense actions to stop gun violence. Gun violence is due to the easy availability of guns to criminals.

As a 23 year union member,we have had our health care negotiated in our contract with the company and the Union to come to an agreement as part of our package.Now all we are hearing from the company that as of now in negotiations that the employee's will have to pay their own.This sounds like the company's position is having to blame the present administration for this bargaining act.When companies make billions of dollars by our hard working members and then take the laborer's for granted.This is a real problem that will affect all families that work for the company.

Last relative immigration act. Most countries have a policy when a citizen who has no other relatives in the country can sponsor only one relative to come to the country. It doesn't matter if it s a grandmother or a brother. It is a last relative, who needs and wants to immigrate to establish a family connection. I have a 28 year old son who is my only relative and I can't get him immigrate to the US because he is over 21. I have nobody in this country. This is just not right.

Cuts in health care and medicaid

Our local community burn pile was closed due to abuse, and the rest of us were left with nowhere to dispose of fallen branches, yard waste, downed trees, etc. We want to work with the city to find a way to bring it back and prevent abuse.

Senator Lindsey Graham is holding President Obama personally responsible for the deaths in Benghazi and says he will hold up the nominations for the head of the CIA and Department of Defense. He must be censured and the Senate needs to move on with the important issues facing our country.

We have been held hostage to the private insurance companies that provide NOTHING to the improvement of our health. They increase the cost of health care by many times what a single payor plan such as Medicare does. The profits go to overpaid and short-sighted CEOs and overpaid Boards of Directors.

I would like to start a petition to require all vehicles in the State of South Carolina to require vehicle inspections on every vehicle registered in the state, similar to that of vehicles in North Carolina. In particular, setting a standard for minimum tire tread depth's. I have personally witnessed way to many vehicles with bald tires and small children in the back seat of them. These are moving missiles that can tragically change the course of a human being's life in seconds. The greater the tread depth, the greater room for water to pass thru and evacuate the tire, creating a larger contact patch of rubber on the road, increasing traction, decreasing hydroplaning, and leading to an enhanced overall control.

Stop this cronyism !

The City of Santa Monica is modifying parking ordinances so that the number of parking spaces required will be reduced significantly. Lack of parking is already negatively impacting businesses and neighborhoods. Increased density in our city is what is creating cars and parking problems, not the number of parking spaces available.
