It is important to sign this petition to defend your rights as a student. The amount we are paying for parking is not financially logical. We are being robbed of our money. Kent State only needs to pay $116 per semester. We pay TWICE the amount for parking at the University we attend. If the authorities aren’t going to help us, then we need to do it ourselves. Please sign this petition and it will be given to the president of The University of Akron and parking services.

His collections “Passport” and “The Book of Green and Blue” discuss the theme of ‘being an immigrant in the U.S. in the 21st Century and  discuss issues such as place, cultural identity, and dysphoria by dissecting the Korean passport.’  Source: https://kevinkwon.space/contact-wells  Keeping Kevin at Transy will allow these students to feel more at home on our campus, and allow others to open their eyes to the experiences of others within Transy’s community. His role as a professor is important to many students, and supporting this cause will not only impact Kevin, but Transy as a whole. 

You should help us because the brilliant amazing girl is missing an opportunity of a life time. 

The citizens of Harrisburg impacted by the seemingly irrational decision to remove all trees through the upcoming city water, sewer, sidewalk project are fed up! Many of your residents only moved to their homes because of the mature trees in a quaint neighborhood. These trees are historic and if you only spoke to some of your residents who still live in their homes and planted the trees themselves, you would know how devastating this is. We understand you have a right to the easements; we understand sidewalks are safer. We do not understand why simply because you have a right to an entire easement, you are choosing to use the entirety of the easement, thereby necessitating the removal of our trees. We hear you would be putting in sidewalks, we came home to the pink ribbons, but many of us did not even receive communication that the trees are planned to be removed! Some of the trees marked for removal are in the middle of yards! We demand answers and pray you can see the impact this is having on those who wish for progress without destroying history. Harrisburg already has lost much of its historic landmarks and charm in the name of progress, how is there not a middle ground? Help us find a solution together.

Ultimately, joining the campaign for change is about supporting students, advocating for quality education, and ensuring fairness and equity within the academic community. It's an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by these decisions.

We cannot allow behavior like this to go unchecked. These are our future leaders and we need to raise them and teach them to behave as such. 

By raising our voices, we will expose a blatant but cleverly hidden mismanagement by FEMA that has allowed coal ash and pipelines on floodplains to escape mandatory insurance and pass all disaster relief to the consumer and taxpayer. This intentional move by FEMA has contributed to a decades long loss to the Disaster Relief Fund that is staggeringR

We need homes, not barriers. Any opportunity to remove a barrier and add a home, we should take. Lets push to have ED 1's initial scope reinstated and help combat the housing crisis in Los Angeles.

The safety concerns have been demonstrated on Bridgeland Creek Parkway with the numerous accidents with increased traffic flow. We have been reactive in the installation of traffic signals . With the proximity of the issues to a school and the potential impact it is important to be proactive.

Using taxpayer money to cover the expenses of a failed concert is concerning. Eagle Pass residents expect their taxes to be used wisely. Instead, explore alternatives like negotiations with event organizers or seeking private sponsor.
