According to the real estate company JLL, U.S. office vacancy went over 20% in the first three months of 2023, with some cities hitting 25% vacancy. However, "these figures understate the severity of the crisis because they only cover spaces that are no longer leased," The Atlantic wrote.Sep 3, 2023 The campaign would also help people get housing. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) counted around 582,000 Americans experiencing homelessness in 2022. That's about 18 per 10,000 people in the US, up about 2,000 people from 2020.

  • Adopt flexible COVID protocols to protect cast and crew.
    We all want to work but we want to work safely and with confidence that our health is not being sacrificed to do that work. Ignoring illness because it may only minimally impact some workers is not in the spirit of our industry where our unions and producers work collaboratively. We can reduce the impact of illnesses such as COVID, Flu RSV, and Pneumonia from impacting production schedules and our health by enacting simple health protocols, when warranted, that were used in the COVID pandemic.

    Many veterans that are qualified for this bill can not work because their disability; which makes it hard for them to support themselves and their families. Some veterans have fallen victim to the housing market because they are not able afford a suitable place to live therefore becoming homeless. Elected officials can change this by moving this legislation forward to the desk of the President of the United States to be signed into law.

    It is important to me, because not only am I the eighth grade student council president I am the highest ranking Kia in my class with a 4.2 in all the years that I’ve ever been in the school district. I am very popular and well loved, and I am also on minority in the mist of hundreds of, Arabic students, Lebanese students and Caucasian students. I am maybe one out of 10% black students in the whole school.
