I want the government of SC to bear the brunt of the Photo ID, in order nto vote !!!

The latest NYS Gun Ban legislation was hastily written, ill concieved and passed without any public scrutiny or any input from constituents of opposing views. This is a clear end run of the democratic process and should be a an affront to the voting public regardless of your personal views. This legislation as it is written puts undue strain on law abiding citizens constitutional rights as well as a heavy financial burden on people that have not violated any laws.

Governor Lepage wants to freeze pay increases until June 2015, this could mean six years of flat wages for employees, with essential costs of living increasing daily and the retention of and recruitment of quality staff so diificult; this freeze is outrageous.

The ticket to work progam Highly Solicited and Highly promoted thru the SSD/SSI program is Misleading...the SSD/SSI information and pamplets promote that persons that go to work thru this Ticket to work program WILL NOT LOOSE any Benifits while doing this program During the TRIAL period and that Earnings WILL NOT affect their benifits! However this is NOT a Government program despite the Misleading information it is a FLORIDA STATE program...Individuals that take on employemnt thru this proagram WILL LOOSE ANY AND ALL BENIFITS that they recieve from the STATE of FL. I took on a 10 hour a week job and immediately LOST my food stamps, Extra help with my perscriptions and my Share of cost jumped up to $1001. a month. I was forced to quit my job for medical reasons and due to All the benifits I was loosing...then after quitting my job My Monthly benifit from SSD was dropped from $855. a month to $467. starting next month...due to I now owe Back Medicare premiums for the months I worked. I had a total of 9 days notice of this action and when I called SSD they informed me there was NOTHING that They could do as this was NOT a federal program...this was a STATE of FL. program. I have No right to appeal and when contacting Dept of family & services they refer me back to SSD. in the meantime I am being victimized Not only financially, but emotionally and phsyically as well by this. When contacting Governor Rick Scott with my letter...he simply FORWARDED my complaint letter and was NO HELP AT ALL. I wonder Just how many other SSD/SSI recipients are being affected by this? NO ONE SEEMS to Care...I tried to do the right thing and help my financial situation and it only caused me MORE financial Hardship, emotional stress and now I will not even be able to afford my mortgage...Now what? I Feel this is Not only Misleading...but it targets those of us on SSD/SSI for Victimization by our OWN STATE OF FL.

Please increase the funding levels of tested programs addressing homelessness in Minnesota and administered by the Department of Human Services.

In Virginia, one party waited for one representative of the other party to leave the state and then voted to gerrymander the state's districts. This will not only affect election outcomes in Virginia, but national elections, as well. In the 21st Century, why can't legislators make use of modern electronic means to vote from wherever they are?

The Hemp, or Cannabis plant, which is most commonly known as the plant that produces marujuana buds (even though that is legally okay with an appropriate medical condition, in my & other states), is also the plant that is capable of producing fiber, fabric, fuel, rope, medications... etc. Our Founding Fathers saw this land as a GREAT place to grow such a wonderful crop. It is annual, & takes less forrests & trees cut down to make paper. Also, it can make biofuel! Totally cutting our dependance from the LIMITED supply of the world's fossil fuels, ALSO hopefully helping reduce climate change effects. You can even grow INDUSTRIALIZED HEMP without them being the marijuana bud-producing kind!

JAQUEZ WAS KILLED ON AUG 30, 2012 FOR DEFENDING HIS SISTER FROM A BULLY, WHICH WAS A FAMILY MEMBER. JUSTICE HAS NOT BEEN SERVED TO HIM OR HIS FAMILY AND WE ARE STILL SEEKING ANSWERS TO A LOT OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS. Newport News Public schools is considering eliminating weekly collaborative planning time for Elementary schools. This time is vital to ensure that the many new and veteran teachers have time to work collaboratively to create lessons that challenge and engage all students.

This petition is in response to mass shootings including that at the Aurora, CO movie theater and Sandy Hook School in Newtown, CT. It also is in recognition of the hundreds of monthly gun deaths given no media coverage.

There were people who died waiting to get on Medicaid in Indiana years ago. PP & ACA would pay 100% for approx.3 yrs; 90% thereafter. IN already pays for those 300,000+ friends, family members, & neighbors who would qualify. Private insurance monopolies just raise premiums partially caused bythe mandated ER care initiated by REAGAN. I would have died without Medicaid that helps cover Medicare premiums. The people that will be saved are our friends & neighbors. Those that will benefit are ALL of US of A. Call Gov. Pence and IN Assembly so they can affirm this Medicaid expansion before, if I'm not mistaken, the session ends in April. When they affirm that, they will help us all affirm our humanity as Hoosiers & truly patriotic and compassionate Americans. Finally: it will also be fiscally responsible. It's a win/win. Help do this wonderful thing. I thank you--and your neighbors needing healthcare will thank you, too.

The gang activity in Maryland is crippling the state and law enforcement is over run. I have not been personally affected by this but these individuals are targeting our kids and family members.
