Our bus at Timpview High School is ridiculous, the students are out of control and also the bus driver. There is constant throwing of objects at other students putting them in danger. Snowballs, Oranges, Pencils, ect. And students throwing objects at the bus outside. Also the students throwing objects are doing other things as well, such as yelling out of the windows, opening the emergency exits and threatening other students on the bus. The bus driver does not do anything to prevent or stop this issue. She has made several threats but she does not take action. This needs to stop, we will no longer ride this bus if something does not happen. I personally will address someone with minority to help me with this issue.

My brother had a swim accident 2yrs ago. he was born in 1984. very young when accident happen with 4 kids. Childsupport is based on the childs needs. (understood) I also am a mother so i do understand the exspenses. My son is 3 and daughter 18. I have never recieved help. I leave that to the fathers. However my brother is a quad. He cant feed himself or move anything pass shoulders. Law goes by child, percent per child if more than one. Not on fathers ability to work or income. I believe this should be changed. As do lawyers and judges that i have talked with. He and three children were together at time of his accident. (2 different mothers) Both have taken him to court and push readily bc they can. Not bc he can pay it. It only makes it harder on the kids, and stress on a man already weighed down by the disabilty itself. Thats rediculious. WITH OUT FUNDS TO LIVE HIMSELF. more than less spend money on fun for he and his children to enjoy eachother in curriculars that cost anything. Goverment takes away earned income for those same children. Is there a balance??

Medicaid expansion should be done in order to provide affordable healthcare coverage for those Tennesseans who will remain uninsured if Tennessee opts not to expand the program. The federal government will pay 90% of the cost and Tennessee will pay 10%. This saves the state money in healthcare cost.

America is a nation of immigrants. It is imperative that we advance educational opportunities for the children of undocumented parents, and who have grown up and continue to live in New York State. These children cannot be expected to live on the fringes of society because they lack the economic opportunities to advance their lives. Assistance with the costs of higher education through scholarship opportunities is essential to help the hard-working children of immigrants break the cycle of poverty and become vibrant members of an engaged and enlightened community. These opportunities will not only assist recipients, their families and ultimately their communities but will also help motivate children by giving them Hope. Investing in education for students with limited opportunities and resources is an investment in our future.

Our State passes the Charter Schools Initiative by a narrow margin. This petition calls on the governor and legislators to require that administrative costs be not for profit and do not exceed 3 % of all cash received. 97% of the funding received should go to Teachers, Instructional Assistants, Counselors, Custodians, supplies, building maintenance & utilities costs support our students education.

It's time we did away with the policy preventing food stamp recipients from purchasing hot food. From an energy standpoint this is wasteful because people have to reheat the food. From a social standpoint there are rising numbers of homeless people who have nowhere to heat the food. This is an ill conceived practice.

To bring in and appoint a non Texan Commissioner to oversee the redrawing of the Local, State and Federal Congressional Districts. This Commissioners mandate would be to create Districts representing the broadest diversity yet insuring an equal balance between the parties. Where that was not possible, then insuring that the numerical advantage is diffused across the State allowing for a clear and unequivocal victory for the better idea and the will of the people.

Using a special license plate, raise funds to begin training Anatolian Shepherd's for farmers. These dogs are saving the Cheetah population, and sheep farmers are happy. There is no reason that wolves need to kill a farmer's property.... they just don't know any different. It looks like prey.
