• Poverty Level
The poverty level according to the government has stayed the same. Yet, prices keep going up in groceries, gas, health insurance, medicine, etc.... It is time to raise the poverty level so more people will not have to go hungry, not without clothes, medical help etc.... Who can possibly make it on minimum wage and pay a sitter? These people are also losing their homes and as Americans we need to fight for them and their children. What if it was you?

  • Public Schools for Public Service Official's children
Public schools are in shambles across America. The only way we can fix it is by making our elected leaders experience what we go through as parents of public school students. To make them accountable, all elected officials must be required to send their children to public schools in their area as a part of their pledge to serve the community they get elected to represent.

  • Create Federal Election Laws for Consistent Voting Accessibility Across All States
The rash of changes to voting eligibility across the country indicates a need for a law to specify consistent voting hours and days in all 50 states in all federal elections. It makes no sense for state or county officials to decide these matters in a haphazard way that results in less access for some citizens than others.

  • Pay Fairness Act
A Petition to pass a Pay Fairness Act to the U.S. Constitution. The act would simply be a formula to help guarantee a living wage. The act would state that the Highest paid person in a Company only could make a maximum of so many times what the lowest paid person in a company is paid. Similar to current laws in Germany.

  • Let us use LSV 's in town limits.
Low Speed Vehicles can only be used on 35 MPH or less roads. If all the town roads that are 40 MPH , there are very few, were changed to 35MPH we would be able to shop locally and do all our town errands using a G,E.M. electric car. Nation wide we would save a lot of gasoline . I would be able to save hundreds of dollars every month and get rid of one car .

  • Election Day
Poll workers are one of the most important positions undertaken by citizens across this country during elections. For a number of reasons,a very limited number of individuals are able to take time off from their jobs to undertake these duties. As a result, these positions are severely undermanned on election day. Working the polls is as important as serving on a jury.
