This election has proven how informed we must be to elect a candidate. We have a wealth of information in the world that's already conflicting, but we should not and cannot accept candidates from either party that tells falsehoods or misleads those empowered to vote. It's vital and should be a REQUIREMENT that their stances be true, true shifts in views changes, not for political reasons. We need to make sure we ELECT the best person for the job based on truth and credentials so we do not endanger our future or our right to vote. We calling for the requirement of fact checks for political ads before running and during debates to help educate and protect voters and our country.

Our Democratic institutions are being undermined and destroyed by big multi-national corporations through this secret organization which lures politicians into accepting contributions and voting for legislation these corporations dictate, which have decimated public schools, undermined collective bargaining, and severely weakened environmental protection laws.

I would like the food industries to be required to inform the public of the use of genetically manipulated organisms (GMO's) in all our foods. This would be accomplished by labeling all foods and food products for the inclusion of any and all GMO products

TV ads for Prescription medications are bombarded onto the American public every minute, does this justifies the high price of medications in the USA compared with the rest of the world? Same prescriptions are about a tenth of the USA in Mexico, Canada or the rest of the world. Stop commercials, lower the cost of medications.

I am a registerd nurse whose employer is mandating the flu vaccine. Health care workers in the United States should have the right to choose whether they consent to medical procedures, medications, and vaccinations, including the flu vaccine, which is now being mandated for healthcare workers across the country. Health care workers should be able to opt out of the flu vaccine on the basis of their philosophical, religious or other medical conditions based on informed consent. As a patient, healthcare workers are entitled to refuse or decline medical interventions including, but not limited to, the flu vaccine based on informed consent. Now, health care workers are losing that right as employers mandate the flu vaccine. Many workers will be terminated from their positions by the end of the year if they fail to comply with the mandates.

It's about keeping church and state, science and religion separate. I have taught in both a parochial and a public school and strongly believe in such a separation and that representatives of government to whom we entrust that separation to be objective.

Mitt Romney needs to release 10 years of tax returns to the American people to show how much he paid in taxes and whether he received amnesty from The IRS. We need this information to be an informed voter.

I saw one of the Clear Channel Communications billboards designed to suppress the black vote in Ohio today and am nonplused. It is bad enough that Clear Channel pays Rush Limbaugh but at least I can turn the radio to another station. I can't shut the billboard off.

Mental hospitals are rarely pleasant places to be. Obviously, that makes some level of sense, but when a respected hospital changes one's medications on a near-daily basis, there is something wrong. They also give "smoke breaks" in almost every hospital where everyone is offered a cigarette whether or not they smoke.
