• Abolish Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission
We need to eliminate the rights of corporations to financially back political candidates. The two major parties spent nearly 1.75 BILLION DOLLARS vying for the presidency in 2012. Of that colossal number 278 MILLION DOLLARS came from individual and organization Super PACs. Undisclosed donor funds ("dark money") is estimated at 400 MILLION DOLLARS. Because of the Supreme Court's 2010 decision on Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, unions, corporations and nonprofit organizations are allowed to give unlimited funds toward their choice for president of the United States. This Supreme Court decision all but eliminates the democratic process. It must be vetoed by the people.

  • Write in Ron Paul for President
Can you sleep at night knowing that the Presidential candidates will not be able to change America for the better. The two-party system in America has essentially become a one-party system where both candidates support bailing out bankers and ongoing war. We can't change that in 2012, but we can still stand up once again as real Americans and make a statement with our vote.

  • End Emergency Veterinarian Price Gouging
Over the last couple of months we had 2 unfortunate circumstances that required emergency veterinary service. On each occasion the "itemized" charges were 3 and 4 times the price of ordinary business hours veterinary care. The business model takes advantage of loving pet owners that would go into debt to help their precious loved ones. Costs of second shift operations do not justify the devious practices of blatant over-charging occurring in many of these after-hours clinics, taking advantage of compassionate pet owners willing to pay any cost to save their pet. What does this do to the majority of pets whose owners simply cannot afford these fees?

  • Federal Sector Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
The Federal Sector EEOC does not allow a fair chance for employees who have been wronged through discriminatory practices. Allowing the government the freedom to say discrimination occurred or did not occur is pointless. We all know it is time this authority is transferred to a neutral party far from the federal agency involved. Almost all cases are currently decided against the complainant. It's long overdue that this needs to be changed. Too many bonifide complainant have been wrongfully discharged with no chance of getting reinstated to their positions because the federal sector EEOC supports agencies versus bringing justice to those wrongfully discharged and/or discriminated against

  • Let them sit down!
We see them every day. The people who tally up our groceries. But we don't see their quiet suffering. In Europe, these people can tally up groceries and sit or stand as they wish. For some reason, here in America, we insist they stand for many hours on end. Let's start to notice them and campaign for this simple humane and human right.

A university suspended a senior university official when it was learned that she had signed a ballot petition giving Maryland voters the right to vote on recently passed legislation that redefines marriage in the state. • Stop Pharmaceutical TV ads
According to Nielsen TV, big pharma spent $2.4 BILLION dollars on TV advertisements in 2011. If drug companies could no longer advertise prescription drugs on TV, drug costs would go down for everyone. Who pays for these ads? We do, through higher drug prices! It makes no sense to advertise directly to consumers when these drugs are only available with a doctor's prescription. The United States is virtually alone in allowing for this type of advertising.
