We who have served with the Peace Corps in nations around the world ask that the Peace Corps celebrate the exemplary life of service to peace of Ambassador Chris Stevens by naming a space of significance in the Peace Corps building in Washington in his honor.

However, the pending federal investigation has not halted the company's mission to continue their efforts at voter registration as they are now operating under the name Issue Advocacy Partners in many battleground states. This is an important election and our elected officials in this and every election must be reached democratically and not as a result of voter fraud and/or intimidation. We all suffer when the fundamental right to vote is tampered with. Call upon Secretary of State Bennett to investigate all voter registrations turned in by Issue Advocacy Partners - do not allow them to continue to operate by concealing their true identity!

Please assemble a list of all corporations who are intimidating their employees into voting for Romney. Send the list out to all Moveon.org members and organize a nationwide boycott of those businesses.

Advertising has become so invasive and negative that it is turning off voters. There should be a blackout on political campaign advertising 7 days prior to any election.

Send a message to Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, and legislators without compassion to line the food banks instead of the bank accounts of their millionaire and billionaire supporters.

We've recently heard from folks in New York who think it is inappropriate for Rudy Giuliani to say that Mitt Romney "should be exploiting" the deadly Libyan embassy terrorist attack to get elected.

So far 6 muncipalties in PA have SPCA endorsed ordiances that make it illegal to teather dogs that spend their entire lives outside. Owners of any 24-7 outside dogs will be required to builed a kennel or to take their dogs inside regularely.

Earlier this year, Governor Cuomo announced his plan to limit the corrupting influence of big money on elections through a system of public financing. New York has an opportunity to take a stand against Citizens United, and make sure every voice is heard, not just billionaires and corporate special interests. But to win real change to our broken political system, we need a legislature that supports the Fair Elections plan. The Assembly already does. We just need to “flip” the Senate from Republican to Democratic control. George Latimer in Westchester, Cece Tkaczyk in the Hudson Valley and Ted O’Brien in Rochester are all progressive Democrats, running in competitive, open-seat Senate races who support the Fair Elections plan. Terry Gipson, Justin Wagner, Ryan Cronin and Andrew Gounardes are all running in competitive races too. They can win, especially with President Obama at the top of the ticket, but they need support. Gov. Cuomo is the most popular Governor in America. But in crucial races that will determine the control of the Senate and the fate of the Fair Elections proposal, he has been silent. Even worse, he has hinted that he might support Republicans. But there’s still time to act. Gov. Cuomo needs to stand and support the Democrats who are backing the Fair Elections plan. Gov. Cuomo: take a stand and endorse the Democrats who support your agenda.

Bain Capitol's Sensata Technologies, an auto parts manufacturer in Freeport, Ill, is scheduled to be closed in early November and moved to China. Mitt Romney owns 51% of the corporation and is in a position to halt the move if he truly believes in protecting American Jobs. Sign the petition and put pressure on him to act before it it too late.

National elections are important to our National well being. Local boards of elections should not be allowed to interfere with hours and days that voters can use their right to vote. By having national rules we will be able to lessen the temptation to try to supress the vote! I think it is a national embarrassment to see how people (Rep)are trying to steal peoples civil rights.

Directors John. P. Boduk and Dougals Berman are major fundraisers for Romney and H.I.G. employees have contributed at least $338,000 to the Romney campaign. The extreme right ring Republican Governor John Kasich and his Secretary of State, John Husted will control Ohio's electronic vote count on election night. John Husted, the Ohio Secretary of State has ignored the judicial decisions on early voting, which prevent Ohio citizens living in predominantly minority areas in Florida from voting. Voting. Because of a clear conflict of interest in their oversight of Ohio voting machines owned by a Bain subsidary, they should not be allowed to oversee Ohio voting or control Ohio's electronic vote count.
