  • Emergency Manger Appointments; cities/schools
It appears that this Republican led effort is targeting urban minority areas and effectively eliminates the rights of citizens who have voted and elected officials to mange the cities and or schools. Although one may questions the capabilities of the elected officers, NO ONE should be able to remove them from the authority that was given to them by the vote of the people.

  • False Ads - You Don't Know WHO to Vote for?
Because of the consistent False TV, radio, etc. advertizement of the candidates, the voter is really blind to who to vote for. A LARGE $$$$$ penalty should be given for any and all false advertizement. I'm frustrated with the lies.

  • I'm Voting Yes on Amendment 65
Is This What Democracy Looks Like? In 9 out of 10 congressional elections, the candidate who spends the most money wins. Nearly $20 million in political ads have been purchased on Denver’s top 4 stations. That buys 18,956 ads; at 30 seconds each, it would take 158 hours to watch them all. Of the $230 million raised by Super PACs from individuals in the first two quarters of the 2012 election cycle, more than half (57.1%) came from just 47 people giving at least $1 million. Just over 1,000 donors giving $10,000 or more were responsible for 94% of this fundraising. We CAN Get Big Money out of Politics. We can correct the errors of the Citizens United ruling by passing an amendment to the U.S. Constitution authorizing limits on campaign contributions and spending that ensure that all of us, regardless of wealth, have an equal voice in our democracy. www.VoteYeson65.org

  • Let's make a real change
I think it's time to get rid of both party's and start electing people who would represent the people, then we could get the crooks out of Washington. Theirs nothing wrong with are constitution it's the party's that are taken all this money from the crooks that want to buy this country. Let's see how many people sign this to make the change, then we can open up the talks.

  • there is no such thing as clean, carbon neutral coal.
I live in West Virginia and my states elected officials are constantly pandering to the citizens against the EPA about clean coal technologies, this just isn't true. My states people have to know the truth and consequences facing our people. The mine owners need to be held resposible for their waste instead of passing the blame.

  • Term limits
We need to consider term limits for the Presidency to make his one term more effective. There is too much important time wasted on campaigning for a second term and too little time to implement important changes.

  • End 60% Rule in Senate
Part of the stalemate in congress, the Senate in this case, arises because we have a rule that we need 60% support before we even take up a bill. That is a ludicras requirement. It affects discussion of bills and limits compromises.

  • One Million Carbon Neutral Car Buyers
This petition is really an old-school boycott, masking as a pledge: let's get one million U.S. consumers to pledge not to buy a new car until they are able to buy an affordable, U.S. built car that is carbon neutral.

  • Shame on Mitt Romney for attacking deferred action
Gov. Mitt Romney promised to veto the DREAM Act, advocates "self-deportation" and calls Arizona a "model for the nation." Now, campaign officials have confirmed that Romney would also try to end the new, popular Obama Administration deferred action program that grants temporary work permits and protection from deportation to young immigrants who would have qualified for the DREAM Act.
