I was a victim of a shooting. It was my husband, who just turned into this person I didnt know. I did everything I could to keep my family safe. Protective order, left our home sfr. I was treated like the criminal. After two breakins and contant harrassment, and without any protection he broke into my house. I was shot twice and taken hostage for 6hrs before he was shot and killed. My life is totally changed . I have medical problems and forced into poverty where I have lost everything. Society has a way of covering this up. I think its time WE take a stand and break the silence. We HAVE the right to be treated with RESPECT AND DIGNITY. NOT humiliated. Step up and step out. Without being afraid.

The only people who stand a chance at even being considered for public office are people who have money or are "connected" in a way that money is abundantly available for costs associated with campaigning.

It makes me so simultaneously sad and angry to see disabled war veterans in my city while wars are still happening. People who have the power to vote for wars should reveal their own personal history regarding military service and be openly willing to send members of their own family to the conflict.

1.Political campaign financing should only come from public funds, and all donors must be listed as a matter of public record. 2. U.S. Senator and House Representative term should only be 4 years. Each Congressman or Congresswoman can only serve 3 terms total in any combination of the Senate or House of Representatives. These two issues affects every U.S. citizen. It will inhibit corruption and will force each Congressperson to work for and serve the U.S. population rather than serve their own interests.
