We are a retired military family. After 26 years of service to our country, we were finally able to put down roots and become home owners. The weakened economy has caused my husband to be downsized twice since he retired. Although he is thankfully employed again, the loss of the Mortgage Interest Deduction will increase our tax burden by thousands of dollars. It will have a significant impact on our finances and those of many middle class families. I call on the President, and the lawmakers of both Houses to retain this essential deduction for struggling middle class families who wish fervently to keep their homes.

Secretary of State Husted fired Thomas Ritchie, Sr. and Dennis Lieberman for not rescinding their votes to add weekend voting hours. But he said he found no pleasure in doing so. Now, a federal judge has upheld their votes and Secretary Husted has agreed not to challenge that decision. Secretary Husted should reinstate them, so they can continue their service to Ohio.

The 104 bus, the only bus on Broadway which is used by many elderly using canes, walkers and wheelchairs, mothers with children in carriages, travelers with luggage and everyone else who were able to take this bus from all the way uptown to the East Side. passing City University, NY Public Library and Grand Central Station. Most cannot afford taxis or the difficulties of getting off one bus, carrying children, luggage, using walkers to cross streets and wait for and get onto another bus. The same is true for East Siders needing to go West to Port Authority, to the theater district, and Lincoln Center and also further uptown on the West Side. This bus made travel possible for so many especially as subways are not possible for so many. This bus route was wonderful,and useful for all ages of our citizens and for tourists.

We the people ask President Obama to Executive Order the Jobs Bill,simply because congress has fail to work with our President so we need to push for this Executive Order on the American Jobs Act, it will start jobs instantly it will boost the economy instantly . The American Jobs Act is A must .

Congress passes laws and they don't have to be part of what they put on the U.S. Public. They don't have to have a national health card as required by they new healthcare law. He should be subject to any law he signs into law.

The State of Indiana cut public school education funding by $600 million over 2 years. Later, the state found "$2 billion" that they had all along. The state legislature should return $600 million to the budget for public school education.
