• Corporate worker on all Board of Directors
Some governments require an elected worker to a seat on the board of Directors of all Corporations. This is good for many reasons, but with a different worker elected annually, they are not easy to corrupt. Workers will then be alerted to excessive CEO compensation and or excessive corporate profits, therefore minimizing the constant threats of refusal to keep wages current. I move that the federal government require any PRIVATE CONTRACTOR/CORPORATION to have a seat on their board of Directors for an annually elected worker.

  • Stop Politicians from LYING on National Airwaves
Politicians have gone overboard with brazen lies. This is becoming the norm in political debate: 'repeat lies long enough and people will believe them.' The FCC has the power to stop lies in their tracks, but has failed. National airwaves are a public trust. It is clear that trust has been eroded.

  • DEMAND GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY
Demand that the Tea Party and the Republican Party take climate science and global climate change seriously and take immediate measures to attempt to correct the damage already done and prevent future damage to the planet's climate.

  • Stop Ignorance on Political Spins
To require that high school education curriculum, whether public, private or home, teach a government section devoted to recognizing political party "spin" and teach students to research actual facts, investigate the source of the facts, separate fact from faction and then teach students how to decide what they think.

  • Fair and Democratic Campaign Contributions
Our government is increasingly becoming of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations. Lawmakers trade their allegiances for campaign contributions - from PACs, corporations, and billionaires alike. It's time for lawmakers to pledge allegience to their constituents. I'm calling for campaign reform, where contributions can only be made by registered voters to campaigns in which they are eligible to vote. No more billionaires from Nevada contributing to senate races in New York. No more PACs contributing to anything. No more corporations contributing to industry-favoring candidates and legislation. Only we the people should be able to contribute to campaigns of which we are constituents.

  • Federal mediators needed for US Elections
Florida and other states are working hard to suppress the vote among minority, and senior voting groups. Many Republican states have authorized a right wing group "True the Vote" to send observers into precincts to validate identification papers. This is still America and we cannot allow states like Ohio, Pennsylvania,Texas,Georgia, Virginia,South Carolina and Florida to deny unfettered equal access to the vote !

  • Rename McCarran International Airport "Senator Harry Reid International Airport"
Senator Pat McCarran was a legendarily corrupt, racist supporter of fascist governments. His name should not be on Las Vegas' portal to the rest of the world. Senator Harry Reid has spent his working life serving the people of Nevada and the United States. He is a quiet and humble man, but his accomplishments deserve to be recognized for all time.

  • A crime against humanity
Condeleezza Rice was cheered wildly when she spoke at the Republican National Convention. Rice repeated the lie about us attacking Iraq because Saadam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Scholars at John Hopkins University reported after conducted a door to door survey in Iraq in 2006 that some 690,000 innocent civilians had been murdered. Bush and his cronies should be tried for a crime against humanity.

  • Make the Prop 204 tax increase permanent!
Education is not just a benefit for the wealthy, or a blunt instrument powered by "special interests", it's an investment by, and for, the growth of the larger society. The legislature has already shown a willingness to divert foreclosure-assistance money from its intended purpose, and Arizona's underfunded schools can't afford more of the same. Public education made my life possible...will it be there for tomorrow's kids?

  • Paul Ryan, Stop Telling Your Medicare Lies
Paul Ryan is successfully lying to the American people, despite requests for him to stop by many Republican leaders and national media including Fox News. Polling already shows that last week's lies by Ryan and the five different major TV ads in key states have moved 10% more support for Republicans to improve Medicare. Such lying must be confronted by as many Americans as possible and stopped by the Republicans.

  • Term Limits
My petition would be about term limits for Federal Senators and Representatives in the House. This affects all of us. Unlimited terms contributes to elected officials becomeing more and more beholden to the big money lobbyists. It is easier for new 'blood' to get into oour Congress.

  • Limit Campaigning Time
The campaigning has lasted almost 2 years with constant ads on television and calls on our phones. This is an entire invasion of my privacy. I pay for my home, my tv, my satellite service and my phones. I have registered with the do-not-call list. Yet these things are dominated by constant campaigning that I do not care to listen to and do not want invading my life. There should be a limit of 2 months prior to election for campaigning and politician should not have access to our phone numbers.
