Amend HB425 GIBILL/YELLOW PROGRAMAmend to include all Veternan's not just after 9/11/01. It is unfair, unacceptable. The requirement is Veteran we should have the same beneftis. This also had option in-state tuition offered to students. FL,OH & KY have adopted this policy. We were denied due to discharged in 1989, denied to apply. The door has opened if you are a student after 9/11/01 they tell yout to come in an apply, before that the door is shut no options, no benefits? Tell me this is fair? We need to help our children at a time where Fannie Mae Home Modifications are 2-4% and student loans 7.9%? We need to look at our future our children need our help today!!8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rhelda Rafferty

BRAZIL VISA FEESMany Brazilians visit the US on a regular basis; the US has imposed a Visa Fee of $160.00 for each Brazilian desiring to visit the US. Brazil charges the same for Americans visiting Brazil, this is in reciprocity. All other nations the fee is $20.00 with the exception of Canada which is $60.00. Our Visa Fee on Brazilian Tourists is counterproductive, we need to encourage tourism not stifle it.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Stephen Whetstone

Congress: Reduce government regulation!Government regulation is a hidden tax perpetrated against the American public. Bills are passed in congress with little regard to the bureaucratic cost of implementing them. Urge Washington to include in each bill an estimated cost of what it would take to enforce or enact each law.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Phil Meredith

Let's use our tax money to get medical coverage for every American citizen!America should sign this petition so that America can get better health coverage around the nation both poor, rich and everyone in between! Canada already has implemented health coverage to every citizen using there own tax money! We in America could learn from our neighbors! We say we are the best and greatest country but we can only be as great as our weakest citizen! So let's unite together and bring strength, beginning with medical coverage to all! It may seem like a pointless endeavor to some...I mean how can a single citizen bring about change? The simple truth is...I can't, not alone! You must unite with me one American to another American and stand hand in hand with your fellow American's...with all of America uniting we can be as strong of a nation as we once were! Let's change the course of history in America and show that we are still as strong and great as we have always been!3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lisa Hunt

Support Homeowner Fairness under ForeclosurePlease sign this petition to ask Governor Brown to sign legislation approved by the Assembly which will level the playing field between lenders and all Calif. homeowners, as well as those in foreclosure. It adds permanent legal protections, and is modeled after the national bank mortgage settlement signed with our 5 largest banks. Drink to EducationTaxing bottle water in the state of Nevada, will help pay our teacher's salaries, and not lay them off. Our children's education is the best investment we can give them, and by having overcrowded classrooms, lack of teaching tools to help provide a good education, we will see a larger number in the dropout rate, because of lack of funding. It's important to strive to keep all children in school and even more so to have a higher percentage of children graduating high school.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Carol White

Dish Network offers only Fox News on low priced packagesThe cheapest package that Dish Network offers viewers has only Fox News Channel as a news source. A subscriber must choose the $59.99 package to access MSNBC. A lot of our senior citizens and poorer folks can only afford the cheapest package and are not getting the chance to hear other points of view and make informed decisions.115 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Monty
