Rush Limbaugh has gone too far, he must be removed from public airwaves!!

The Occupy Santa Fe General Assembly approved the 99 Pledge as a tool to identify which candidates and elected officials are beholden to the 1% and which law makers represent working Americans. The 99 Pledge was instrumental in gaining approval by the New Mexico legislature of a Memorial calling for the reversal of Citizens United. The 99 Pledge has been successful at bringing the issue of campaign corruption to the public. The 99 Pledge proved to be a powerful tool in New Mexico when activists confronted law makers with the 99 Pledge in one hand and the truth in the other.

The HOA Board is penalizing families with a "vehicle tax" of $100 for clickers needed greater than 2. These clickers cost the HOA $18.31.

Rush Limbaugh and his continued vitriol against women has got to stop. As a 62 yr old mother of three successful daughters, I remain baffled as to why this man and his misogynistic tirades have been allowed to be heard. Words and actions that demean, degrade and disrespect women must never be tolerated. Please join my petition to rebuke these messages and all they represent.

We, the undersigned, recognize the need to keep the County Mental Health Center Open. In their own mission statement, it says: "The Community Mental Health Center of Lancaster County is dedicated to providing quality mental health care and rehabilitation services for adults who experience acute physhological distress or serious mental illness." We all know someone who is in need of these services. Knowing that this facility is closing has our friends, family members, neighbors and those we do not know, but who live in Lancaster County, in a frenzy. They are frightened as to what will happen to them.How will they get the treatment and medications that they so desperately need. A trait of all people, especially those with mental problems, is the need for community support. Without this support, many will end up in jail, on drugs, or living on the streets. The Mental Health Center is a lifeline for people with problems. How can we turn our backs on our neighbors, friends, relatives and people in need? Signing this petition let's the county know that the County Mental Health Center is a necessity and should remain open. Correction: "No county money was spent to re-dig the geothermal well holes. That was the responsibility of the contractor that dug them wrong in the first place. The subcontractor had bond money posted prior to going out of business. The contractor fulfilled its legal and financial obligation of re-digging the 149 wells at no cost to the county." per Jane Raybould (District #1), Board of County Commissioners We still need to keep the Community Mental Health Center open and functioning.

Rush Limbaugh was wrong to paint Sandran Fluke as a "slut" on national radio, February 29, 2012. The outrage was instantaneous; bit instead of apologizing the next day, he stated that if Sandra wanted other people to pay for her birth control, she should be willing to tape her sexual interactions and post them on the internet. This is the most disgusting, vile form of sexism he could possibly publicize. We must let the CEO of Clear Channel know that this is not ok. His actions are slanderous and wrong. Rush Limbaugh needs to apologize immediately!

In it's recent Protected Innocence Initiative, Shared Hope International gave the State of Arkansas an "F" for the strength of it laws protecting minor children from sexual trafficking and slavery.

Disrespecting women who are everyone's mothers, daughters, granddaughters, and who give birth to all humankind.

As a fair nation we must protect our right to vote. It should not be more difficult to vote but more convenient for the people, especially in the difficult times we Americans are living in. This is an issue that will effect us all. Our right to vote is the very thing that makes a difference in everything we want for America.

Governor Scott wants to funnel $$$ to his hospital friends by forcing you to the ER within 72 hours of an accident. Indiana's legislature is close to voting away our state's inheritance tax. As it now stands, inheritance left to a spouse or charity is wholly exempt, and leaving a million dollars to a surviving child would incur a tax rate just under 5%, hardly destroying a family's fortune, while generating $165 million in annual revenue. At a time when state programs are needed to support infrastructure, education, and business development to create new opportunities, there's no reason to stop asking the extremely wealthy to pay it forward.
