Recently, 7 of the 9 Sacramento City Council members (including the Mayor) approved the framework of a plan that would commit over $250 million dollars to a Downtown arena. That money would come from the leveraging of public resources. Right now, several groups of citizens, out of concern for Sacramento's future, are working hard to mobilize the disenfranchised majority of people who would rather see basic city services protected before the subsidizing of another arena to appease corporate business interests. Freedom's administration is attempting to change our block schedule back into an eight period a day schedule. Currently, it is an issue with teachers on one side and the administration on the other. However, the overall focus should be on the students and what benefits them! This petition is to show that the students do not agree with this and want their opinions heard. We need to know what is in our food

FEMA-HURRICANE KATRINA trailers are loaded with mold and formaldahyde. These toxins are carcinogenic to humans. People are sick and have died from living in them. Sellers are selling the trailers without giving the information of health risks. Families are being left in despair!

There are too many school districts in Pennsylvania. Each of the districts in Pennsylvania has a Superintendent and Assistant Superintendant who, typically, earn six-figure salaries. On top of this, many districts pay retired administrators to act as consultants in district matters. The amount of money that is wasted on these administrative salaries could be put to much better use.
