• Revoke Anthony Saccone's Bail
Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said Saccone was driving 86 mph at the time of the crash. 3 Young Adults lost their lives that night: Baylie C. Rose, 19 Michael S. Walker, 18 Samra Osmanovic, 20 Rose was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Impala south on Onondaga Road when she drove into the intersection of Onondaga Boulevard and Onondaga Road at about 3:40 a.m. Feb. 23, police said. Her vehicle was struck by a 2015 GMC Acadia operated by Saccone, police said. Rose and the two passengers, Walker and Osmanovic, were all pronounced deceased at the scene, police said. Saccone was seen fleeing the area and was apprehended by OCSD K9 unit at his mother's house right up the road where he was destroying evidence and hoped to evade capture because he was driving a rental car from a local dealership with dealer plates on it. Anthony Saccone 's family pleaded for donations via GoFundMe just 4 days after Saccone posted either a $250,000 bail or a $500,000 bond to secure his release from jail ahead of trial at his May court date. Since then Saccone has been seen at several local hot spots enjoying his freedom and his life while his victims are decomposing in the ground. That's not right... Pictures surfaced of him drinking and partying at several different locations thought CNY, which people who know Saccone are not surprised he shows no remorse and is living the same lifestyle he had before the crime. As of July 14th, Anthony Saccone is awaiting an October trial date and is free on $250K bail. This petition goes to all the Moms and Dads that had to bury their children due to Drunk/Ability-impaired drivers. Saccone lived here his whole life, his mother lives within walking distance of the scene. He deliberately drove 50+mph over the speed limit rushing to get home at 3:30 in the morning after receiving a call from his irate Baby Momma, probably about him being out drinking at 3:30 in the morning when he has his own kids at home. Defense lawyer William Sullivan argued that the murder charges should be dismissed as evidence shows that Saccone attempted to swerve around the time of impact, proving that he did not act with the depraved indifference required for murder. Of course he swerved; it's a natural instinct to avoid a collision and how do we know he swerved before the crash and he wasn't just reaching for his phone or too drunk to keep it straight between the lines. Saccone is facing up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted of murder let's sign this petition and get it in front of DA Fitzpatrick and Hon. Judge Doran. THANK YOU

  • Remove Donald Trump From Office
I've started this petition because President Donald Trump has caused many families to be separated, other countries don't like him which puts our country at risk to be attacked, and President Trump has no filter on what he wants to say and acts on impulses. I have personally been affected by Donald Trump tearing apart families who have done nothing wrong, it is cruel and unfair to the children.

  • Nova Food Truck Permit
Food trucks are being asked to get permits/inspections from health departments and now fire marshals in every county/ territory/town in Virginia... This is costly for a tiny food truck vendor - specifically in the NOVA area (even DMV for that matter) who travels multiple zones for their business. For example, a NOVA food truck could go to Loudoun, Fairfax, Alexandria, Vienna, and Arlington all within a weeks time to vend food. For every permit - a great deal of time and money is spent (hundreds of dollars on each permit). The costs and bureaucracy involved are a heavy burden for the tiny food vendor - it set's up the small business to fail. We ask for 1 permit for the entire NOVA region that allows Food Trucks to vend freely. 1 permit that works for all fire marshalls and health departments across all zones. We need a universal code for the area that allows food trucks to do business across the region - without the worry of fines. (because they don't have this sticker for Arlington and this paper from Loudoun doesn't work in Fairfax etc... ) 1 Permit for the NOVA region eliminates multiple yearly inspections and costs. Please change the law and allow us to do what we do best - make delicious food affordable and easily available for the consumer.

Hawaii and the world can't take a gradual approach to climate change. You've seen what it's doing to our weather, our beaches, our coral reefs. This resolution will strengthen Hawaii's various commitments to lead the nation in adopting clean energy, and hasten our progress toward those goals.

  • Members of the House Must Sign on to Articles of Impeachment
The Department of Justice indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers for interfering with the 2016 US Presidential election. Russia is responsible for this attack on US democracy and Donald Trump's continued defense of and open alignment with Vladimir Putin -- a demonstrable murderer, tyrant, and enemy of democracy -- is grounds for impeachment. Trump praises Putin and meets with him on foreign soil while discrediting and ignoring our own intelligence agencies that have shown Putin launched an attack on our last election and is planning to do it again. Meanwhile, Trump's White House eliminated its top cybersecurity position and Trump continues his campaign to discredit and undermine news outlets that report the truth. House Democrats Steve Cohen (TN), Luis Gutiérrez (IL), Al Green (TX), Marcia Fudge (OH), John Yarmuth (KY), Adriano Espaillat (NY), and Brad Sherman (CA) have already introduced articles of impeachment. If Donald Trump continues to provide aid and comfort to a foreign enemy and flout American democracy by meeting with Putin, their fellow House members must sign on to these Articles of Impeachment and demand the Judiciary Committee begin impeachment hearings.

  • Trump: Meet with Mueller!
Donald Trump meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Finland — in a one-on-one, closed door meeting with no aides present and no record of what was said. Putin’s government attacked our democracy by interfering in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump become president. This has been verified by all U.S. intelligence agencies, the Department of Justice and most recently by the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee. The FBI was investigating if Trump’s campaign had conspired with the Russian government to influence the election. Trump fired FBI Director James Comey in May 2017. Shortly thereafter, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced an investigation to be conducted by the Department of Justice to continue this investigation and named Robert Mueller as the special counsel to prosecute the case. Mueller, who was the former Director of the FBI and lifelong Republican, was praised by many Republicans as a reputable investigator. Since then Mueller has indicted 35 people for over 100 criminal charges. Three of Trump’s top people have pleaded guilty; Trump’s Deputy Campaign Manager Rick Gates, campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos, and his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Trump’s Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort has also been indicted and was sent to jail for tampering with witnesses. On Friday, Mueller indicted 12 Russian military intelligence officers for interfering in the election. As the investigation has gotten closer to Trump and his family, Trump has been attacking the investigation and threatening to fire special prosecutor Robert Mueller and his boss Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Mueller has asked Trump for an in person meeting to answer his questions regarding the investigation and possible obstruction of justice. Trump publicly stated he would meet with Mueller and has since said he would not. It is imperative that Trump meet with Mueller and answer his questions.

I'm starting this petition because I'm humiliated and frustrated by our President's comments and interactions with our Allies. I want the world to know that millions of Americans do not share his opinions and that we value our relationships with them tremendously.

  • No Meeting With Putin
Mueller's investigation continues to make progress with 35 indictments against a range of Russian and Trump campaign and Trump Administration officials. Yet, Trump wants his bromance with Putin to continue. Coupled with the insane blocking and interference with the Mueller investigation by Congressional Republicans the majority (for now!) party is acting like Russian double agents. Enough!

  • Tell Trump to postpone Monday's Summit with Putin
The Mueller probe just indicted 12 Russians for hacking during the 2016 election cycle. As Jake Tapper pointed out on Twitter, this is in addition to the 79 criminal charges already filed against 20 individuals and 3 companies, including Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort who is currently in jail for obstruction of justice and witness tampering. Trump and the White House cannot go forward with private meetings with Putin while the intelligence community has so clearly indicated that Russia is a threat to our democracy. Please sign the petition before it's too late.
