This petition is to give the basic adult rights to adults of all age groups, instead of certain rights starting at certain ages. I have had the dream of running for president for many years now, but since the minimum age to run is 35 I have had to push it off to 2040, but if the minimum age was the age was the age of an adult (18) than I would be able to run in the 2020 election.

Graniteville swamp is one of the last freshwater wetlands on Staten Island, but it is facing destruction to put yet another big retailer in our community. The swamp acts as a natural barrier to flooding and clears pollutants from the SI Expressway. We have more than enough stores to choose from in our neighborhood, and we don't want this project to ruin our air quality, lower our property, and put our lives and homes in danger! Rt 739 is typically left in very unsafe and deadly conditions before, during, and after winter weather; up to and including blizzards, snow, snow showers, sleet, and freezing rain. The entirety of the thoroughfare is left completely untreated, and often times the only tracks cleared through the snow/slush are made only by the citizens traveling the roads. This results in having to inch along an icy, curvy route at 10 MPH, tripling the travel time on the road. This not only puts many people in danger but also causes motor vehicle accidents that may have otherwise been avoided. That, in turn, causes emergency personnel to be overrun with incidents and eventually higher taxes and costs to the citizens. We implore PennDOT to consider this and give this very hazardous issue some much-needed attention.

UPS is forcing package drivers to work up to 70 hours a week this holiday season. Forcing exhausted drivers to work so much is unsafe to workers and the public. Rather than creating a holiday safety hazard, UPS should create more full-time jobs that pay a living wage.

The existence of Midway Beach in South Seaside Park NJ is being threatened by the ill considered and unnecessary dune project underway by the Army Corp of Engineers. Midway Beach is the only community on Barnegat Island that was not affected by Superstorm Sandy due to our treasured massive dunes. We don't need YOUR DUNES.

On 12/20/17, Politico revealed that California's Republican Representative Devin Nunes is leading an on-going and secret investigation of the FBI & DOJ leadership aiming to show bias against President Trump. Rep. Nunes is my representative, and I find his actions to be contrary to the ethical standards to which elected representatives at the national level must adhere in order to serve the entire nation. Instead, this is more of the types of actions that are further inflaming highly contentious divisions within the US.

This is not an Anti-Conservatism petition as I believe bipartisan bills are the most beneficial to the American population. Unfortunately, however, the corruption and willful undermining of our democracy within the Republican Party is apparent to the American People, and we demand it be dissolved and Conservatives start a new party with a commitment to honest public service, patriotism and real conservative values. Return the integrity to the conservative wing of America and end the party of corrupted Republicans.

Donald Trump is the first president to refuse to divest from his business holdings while in office. Coupled with his refusal to release his tax returns, that level of secrecy makes it impossible to know when he’s representing us as a nation and when he’s representing his own business interests. The President has a choice: to lead the country or to continue enriching himself. And until Trump makes the right call, his business partners must not enable corruption. That’s why we’re calling on these companies, starting with State Street Corporation and the GE Pension Trust, the owners of the Trump International Hotel and Tower in NYC, to remove President Trump’s name from their building. The Trump International Hotel and Tower by Columbus Circle is one of the most recognizable Trump branded properties in the world. We need to send a signal that New Yorkers won’t stand for this kind of blatant corporate greed in their own backyard. We must band together to demand that State Street and the GE Pension Trust stop doing business with the Trump Organization, and drop Trump’s name. There is already momentum. On Nov 22, the Trump Organization announced that they will be “walking away” from the Trump SoHo Hotel—which has been marred in scandal, and financial woes.(1) Now, Trump is facing scrutiny from the Maryland and DC AG’s office who are starting to investigate his Washington DC hotel stating that it “enables him to make money from foreign and domestic governments, breaching two Constitutional clauses intended to prevent that.”(2) This is an unprecedented conflict of interest. Companies should not be profiting from this corruption. Buildings like Trump International Hotel and Tower should drop Trump’s name while he’s in office. If we act now to pressure other properties to drop the Trump brand we can demonstrate just how toxic his corruption is. After all, a commander in chief who has ongoing involvement in a private business that bears his name cannot truly represent our interests because we aren’t his constituents first. Instead, we’re his patrons, workers, and competition. We need a president who puts country before company. If President Trump won’t divest from his businesses while in office, we need to make sure that companies refuse to profit from corruption. Take a stand against corruption: tell State Street Corporation and the GE Pension Trust to remove President Trump’s name from their hotel.

I am not hearing about any support, only criticism and possible threats to the investigation. No one seems to be stepping up to defend it -- so the public must do so.
