To promote a 2nd coming of the WPA for our people to give this country a 21st century infrastructure, economy, & skill set needed to remain the nation that we've established.

We cannot deny the effects of global warming and its scientific proof. As the one of the wealthiest states in the wealthiest nation on the earth, we have a responsibility to support current, and enact future legislation, that will protect our wildlife, the environment, and the National Park system. We cannot allow public lands to be defiled for the good of the few. We have witnessed here in Connecticut the alarming loss of honey bees, Monarch butterfles, and the mutations of frogs, just to name a few. Thank you for being one Governor who stood up.

Besides being a potential legislative win in being visionary and forward looking, committing to these measures is important for the health and economy of the state. Countries, states, and cities that have committed to renewable energy has shown that it is a boon to the economy by sparking ingenuity and opening up new businesses with new jobs. With mayors in Columbia and Charleston, as well as the flagship campus at USC committing to these measures, the state would be investing in the economy of the present and future by joining the alliance. Secondly, given the historic floods of the past few years and the devastation they have caused, it is a question of health and security to limit the effects of climate change before we are in an annual cycle of rebuilding infrastructure Post flooding.

The City Clerk is the doorway to democracy, information, and accountability in Detroit. But right now, every Detroiter doesn’t have equitable access to in-person services close to where they live. In order to drop off their ballot in person, or make official records request face-to-face with someone, Detroiters must get to one of two locations in or near downtown, search for parking, risk a parking ticket, even go through security. That's not accessible service. By opening real service centers in all seven City Council districts, the City Clerk can meet people where they are, close to home, making information easier to access, empowering Detroit residents and business owners can focus on making their communities the best they can be.

Trump's withdrawal of the United States in the US climate alliance and Paris Accord is an embarrassment to our country in view of a progressive international community that recognizes and is taking action on the very real issue of man-made climate damage and destructive behaviors.

Illinois must join the alliance of states upholding the Paris Climate Accords.

The state of Missouri needs to stand up and lead the way during this crucial time in human history. The governor needs to join the Mayor of St. Louis, Missouri, and all Missourians to take action for our planet and for future generations. Climate change is a human issue, not a political one.

The health of the earth and our environment depends on US. All of us. At every level. Regardless of the ignorance or denial in the White House presently, we need to continue to fight climate change and make all attempts to prevent pollution and landfills!

I am appalled by Pres. Trump's withdrawal from the Paris accord and want to act!

I have been a lifelong advocate of protecting the world we need to look to the future and cease this money grabbing short-sighted view that the present administrations seem to have regarding these agreements. North Carolina's east coast has a huge tourism market with premier beaches and these can all be negatively affected by rising sea water. After Trump announced that the US would pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement, dozens of governors joined together to commit to uphold the carbon reduction called for by the Agreement. Long term economic stability will not be possible with human-caused climate change threatening public health and the stability of society. We must be proactive because none of us can afford the needless human costs of failing to act now. Governor Wolf must act now!
