• No justice. No pay. No severance for Philando Castile's Killer
Nothing can describe the rage Black people are feeling right now. The officer who killed Philando Castile, Jeronimo Yanez, was found not guilty by a mostly-white jury after 5 days of deliberation. And the pain is unbearable. Despite having no faith the police would be held accountable in this case, the anger and frustration isn't diminished. Because once again we sit and watch a mother scream in pain because the person who murdered their loved one got away with it. Even more enraging is that Yanez could actually PROFIT from the pain and suffering he's caused. Right as the verdict came down, the City of St. Anthony fired Yanez from the department--and announced they will begin negotiating a "separation agreement" to help Yanez "transition into a new career." So let's get this straight: Yanez has been on a paid vacation for almost a year and now the department is offering him to walk away with a wad of cash? Hell no. Ain't no way we can allow him to profit from the murder of Philando Castile by any means. Sign the petition demanding the City of St. Anthony cease all severance negotiations with Yanez immediately.

  • PriorityHealth is violating our CIVIL RIGHTS
I have the genetic connective tissue disorder Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. As of 2017, PriorityHealth refuses to pay for Euflexxa injections for my progressive and painful joint deterioration. It expects me to use steroids, which will only destroy what little knee cartilage I have left. Steroids are forbidden for those of us with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This is a violation of our CIVIL RIGHTS. Please sign this petition for those of us with EDS who want to maintain our mobility. If forced to rely on steroid injections, people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome will face knee replacement surgery, which doesn't always work because of our severe structural disorder. Euflexxa injections are far cheaper than pushing people in great pain into unnecessary and premature joint replacement surgery.

  • Tell Wikipedia to add a Controversy section to Don Lemon's Wiki Article
Don Lemon downplayed a violent, racially-charged hate crime against an 18 year old autistic teen this year in January while live on the air on CNN. But Wikipedia keeps removing the contents of this event from Don's Wiki articles, pretty much censoring any controversial events from him. We cannot allow this, especially for people such as myself and my sister Wendy, who are autistic. Wendy is low-functioning and is the sweetest, most loving and loyal friend you could ever ask for! I am high-functioning, and can take care of myself, but Wendy needs her bubba to fight for her safety and to protect her. If we allow such disregard towards harming autistics, we could be in danger of other teens thinking what the four individuals did to him is somehow 'cool' or they might think they will somehow gain 'street credit'! Please sign to stop such blatant disregard and help protect the most vulnerable of our citizens on the spectrum.

  • Georgia must support the Paris Climate Agreement
I think changes have to be made, and since Donald Trump will not be leading us in the right direction we must stand up and do it ourselves. We as a whole will be harm if we do nothing to save this planet. It would be selfish to not want to make this planet a better place since our childrens and their childrens will be the ones paying for our ignorance. In order to make change we must individually make effort to change for the better. Climate change is very really and not believing in it will be a dangerous mistake that we cannot afford to make. Over 90 percent of scientist agreed that climate change is real, and we are currently seeing some effect of it with our very own eyes, yet we chose to ignore it. Frankly it should not even be a debatable issue, because the fact are there and they are not going to go away. We have to read up and keep ourselves inform, and not be easily sway by absurd claims. We need to educate ourselves on environmental issues and find ways we can live sustainably. It is in our best interest to help the environment since it would do nothing but benefit us. I mean what could possibly go wrong if we make the planet a better place for all of us?
