Donald Trump seems to have lost a mental grasp that has impaired his ability to conduct himself as the President of our country.

WHAT WE NEED: A HIGH PRICE COLLAR TO PRICE CARBON with a floor of $60 and a ceiling of $120/ton of CO2 by 2030 AN END TO OFFSETS that allow local pollution to continue AN END TO FREE POLLUTION ALLOWANCES A CLIMATE DIVIDEND that returns revenue to every CA resident TO DEAL WITH SURPLUS ALLOWANCES from the current program to not undermine the post-2020 program WITH ACCELERATION OF RENEWABLE POWER in the state, as Community Choice Energy takes off county by county, along with technological advances in energy storage and in small wind, like PRIMO WIND out of San Diego, we are now primed as a state to transition to a CLEAN ENERGY ECONOMY and lead the rest of the US. SB775 helps move that crucial path forward. SB 775 would provide the mechanism to effectively bring about a market-driven transition to clean energy by amending California’s cap and trade system to establish a predictable, steadily rising price on fossil fuels with corresponding dividends returned to all adult residents. My personal story is based on my employee history and my dedication to my work. With a spotless record, I was removed for political reasons by a reckless Governor and the promise of a Judgeship to the then Director Wayne Forest for moving on a plan to remove 200 employees for no reason at the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission.

Two years ago, we took on Governor Malloy with a petition of over 15,000 signatures (in a month's time) to speak on behalf of the IDD community due to the never ending budget cuts for with the greatest need. It's time to take on Hartford and the legislators and Governor. The fiscal year closed without a budget, and due to the pending crisis, the control is left with Governor Malloy. We know he has no problem cutting the IDD as he has done every year since taking office. Here are the FACTS: FACT: Last year, DDS spent an astounding $45 million on overtime and more than $96 million to care for less than 270 people at Southbury Training School. This is a state run union facility with a population that had by 40% since 2010. (ie. direct-care worker with a base salary of $60,225, took in an additional $136,337 in overtime alone. Including fringe benefits, her compensation was $237,886.). By simply controlling OT and shifting those funds, millions can be redirected back into the funding for the IDD community! FACT: We need legislators to vote on a budget that funds Day & Employment Services for New Graduates and that does not eliminate Community First Choice. FACT: Governor Malloy will cut funding from community supports for people with IDD who are already receiving services in the community by more than $44 million this year alone! FACT: At the same time that key programs that serve our children receive double digit cuts (behavioral services- 11%; employment and day- 10%; rent subsidies- almost 13%), State employees at DDS are cut by only 2 percent. The never ending imbalance of fiscal irresponsibility. Its time to have a voice, a loud one and mobilize this community to make it clear that the July 18th budget cannot afford ANY MORE CUTS for the IDD community. As a U.S. cItizen and the father of a young daughter, I find the attacks coming from Donald Trump's Twitter account abhorrent. This is further compounded by the fact that as President his postings get significant media attention. Politics aside he is setting a poor example for the youth of our society about civility and is demonstrating sexist bahavior.

This is not only a clear invasion of voter privacy by an unstable admin, it is also spawned by untruths and Infowars/Alex Jones types, founded purely on falsehoods and paranoia. Please sign and share link with a few area folks and I will send it off for the Governor to consider.

Join the other twenty states that have refused to cooperate with Trump's request for state's voter registration information, including party affiliations, social security numbers, and voting history. Protect Washingtonians' personal information and don't legitimize Trump's debunked theory of voter fraud.
