Allow Massage Therapy and Spas to re-open!Servicing our clients this way poses little to no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people in a grocery store or 10 plus people at restaurants picking up food. The survival of the independently owned Spas and their professions are at risk. We are facing a grave financial hardship. Our industry is in the HEALTH AND WELLNESS business and is needed now if not more than ever.110 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Chancee Terry

Tattoo shops opening back up May 1st (limits to 10 people per shop at a time &wearing face masks)Covid 19 is affecting the economy in major ways and forcing people to make tough decisions for their families based upon recent events and work displacement. To ease the economical pain in our industry it is in our best discretion to open back up with these limited restrictions. Moreover the quarantine was implemented to flatten the curve of the spread of covid 19 to ensure that hospitals were not overwhelmed all at once and to help prevent such rapid spread. The number of people infected is currently on a decline and the numbers aren’t as bad as once projected. Additionally Tattoo artist are trained and certified in blood borne pathogens and cross contamination as well as many other medical safety and sterility procedures.27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by jeff jones

Tell Sheriff Horton and I.C.E. Field Office Director Dianne Witte to FREE THEM ALL!People in detention are highly vulnerable to outbreaks of contagious illnesses. To date, we have seen the high level of contagion in New York jails and many counties across the county have released people detained or incarcerated as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Protecting the health of people in detention is a necessary step to protecting the public safety, as detention center staff and ICE officers go back to their homes and communities each night. Our demands are simple: Release all people incarcerated and detained in the Etowah county Detention Center and County Jail. Immediate action before an outbreak occurs is the best and safest way to prevent the spread of disease and reduce the threat to those most vulnerable to complications from the novel coronavirus. Release your plans to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the Etowah County Detention Center and County Jail. Sheriff Horton has yet to release a detailed plan to reduce the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak in the Etowah County Jail and Detention Center. An outbreak would totally overwhelm the Etowah County Jail and medical facilities in Etowah County. Plans should include screening, testing, non-punitive isolation methods, and adequate medical care. Make publicly available information regarding the spread of COVID-19 within the Etowah County Detention Center and County Jail and uphold the right of those in custody to communicate with their families, friends, and legal counsel. Families, friends, and lawyers should have access to regular communication with those in detention including free phone calls (including confidential phone calls and video conferencing with attorneys), access to email, video visitation, and postage mail. Join us in advocating for the release of some of our most vulnerable community members by signing your name and/or organization below. Let’s #FreeThemAll together!254 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Detention Watch Network

Increase protection for families suffering from domestic violence during the Stay-at-Home Order.Reports are showing that domestic violence is dramatically increasing daily due to the Stay-at-home Orders. Safe preventive measures should be put in place to deter the likelihood of future domestic violence incidents. Some possible suggestions can be increased police presence in areas where calls are being made by patrolling local neighborhoods. Also, by making follow up phone calls should be made to homes of 911 callers reporting abuse. Safety measures can possibly place abusers on high alert that law enforcement is canvasing the areas regularly, which may save lives. Let's please tell our State Representative Rebekah Warren, and Michigan State Police Commissioners to protect our families. Quick safety measures need to be set in place to protect victims in isolation with an abuser. Please sign my petition to draw more attention to this issue.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Talecia Felton

No Post Office--NO TAXESSince the United States, along with most of the world, is in self-quarantine, and there are elections coming up in November, it is of the utmost importance to people's health and safety that they not face long voting lines and possibly unintended infections passed on by the proximity to possible carriers, causing more victims and the possible death of thousands. With the safety of every person in these United States as paramount, the Post Office must remain open as a possibility for safe voting, not to satisfy one person's selfish goals, including the President.147 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Joyce Korbin

Governor Kemp & Commissioner Ward: Release nonviolent inmatesAs a public servant in Georgia, I have a concern that we will not defeat COVID-19 as long as our state officials don't act decisively to reduce the density of the prisons, which will help to reduce the spread of a horrible disease both inside and out in the communities. Nonviolent, low risk to community inmates, misdemeanors and felonies alike, make up a large percentage of the prison population. Clemency will reduce the population to lower the risk of spreading COVID-19 inside prisons. Nonviolent inmates can better serve the community by not being part of the spread. They can quarantine with family, then become productive in their local community. Without the burden of taking care of additional sick, possibly dying inmates, the state can better care for those left inside. Additionally, the state will continue to collect money from parole fees, helping to fund other needs.327 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Kelly Reed

California Is AmazingWhy am I paying Federal Taxes when the federal government will not support our state? Our Governor has done an awesome job because he has not truly called trump and his "team" out. California per Wikipedia ( i know not the best resource, but solid) Economy of California Flag-map of California.svg As a stand-alone country, California would be the 5th largest economy in the world. Statistics GDP $3.137 trillion (2019)[1] GDP growth 4.3% (2018)[2] GDP per capita $79,303 (2019) [3] Population below poverty line 13.3% (absolute)[4] 19.0% (relative) [5] Labor force 19,286,476 (December 2017)[6] Unemployment 3.9% (Feb. 2020)[7] Public finances Expenses $220 billion (2011–12)[8] California's 2017 GDP compared to other states and countries The economy of California is the largest in the United States, boasting a $3.137 trillion gross state product as of 2019.[9] If California were a sovereign nation (2020), it would rank as the world's fifth-largest economy, ahead of India[10] and behind Germany. Additionally, California's Silicon Valley is home to some of the world's most valuable technology companies, including Apple, Alphabet Inc., and Facebook.[11] In total, over 10% of Fortune 1000 companies were based in California in 2018, the most of any state.[12] **** As of now California should succeed from the federal government - why I say this is we give all and now have to fight for our rights as of a State,4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by jami Burrows

Justice for Native PeoplesAmerican Indians and Alaskan natives are among the most impoverished and marginalized groups in the United States. Their tribes have often been decimated by the spread of infectious diseases. The coronavirus has caused major problems for indigenous peoples. Because of treaties, the Federal government is responsible for protecting the health and safety of American Indians and Alaskan natives. The year 2020 marks the 400th anniversary of the establishment of Plymouth Colony. What do Americans want to celebrate on Thanksgiving Day?121 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Robert Murphy
