• ADULT ADOPTEES ARE UPSET WITH SOME NEW YORK STATE LEGISLATORS ABOUT OUR CIVIL RIGHTS
The reason for this petition is some of the New York Assemblymen/Assemblywomen and Senators every year manage to keep our Adoptees Rights Bill A909/S2490A locked up in some state Committee and it never goes to the floor of the New York State Assembly and Senate for vote! We have the verbal support of most of Assemblymen and Senators, but the Bill A909/S2490A never makes it to the floor for them to vote !

  • Stop denying U.S. citizens entry at Ben Gurion Airport.
After being allowed entry through Israel's (Tel-Aviv) Ben Gurion International Airport on several occasions, on 11-24-2005 I was denied entry and imprisoned the whole night when I had committed no crime at all besides being of Arabic descent. I was humiliated by the State of Israel for no reason, as many U.S. citizens constantly are. I was going to attend my sister's wedding and instead of being a joyful time of the family gathering for a happy occasion, my whole family was worried about my whereabouts because the Israel border agents put me on the first flight leaving to Germany and I had to find another flight back to the U.S.A. It was the most humiliating experience I had ever had in my life. Israel boosts itself as the only democracy in the Middle East, but it is the only state that will deny me, a U.S. tax-paying citizen entry. • Act Now: Pass Historic Agreement of Community & Police
Help protect motorists, pedestrians and juveniles from being stopped and searched for no reason other than their color, ethnicity or age. Help ensure police practices are fair, unbiased and professional. Both community and police worked hard to create this bill, and both support it. We need your help to pass it this year!

  • Tell San Francisco Archbishop: Don't speak at hateful anti-gay rally
Why is one of the nation's most prominent Catholic archbishops scheduled to speak at a virulently anti-gay rally? San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone is appearing at the upcoming "March for Marriage" in Washington, D.C. The event is organized by the National Organization for Marriage, an organization that has equated gay marriage with incest, and co-sponsored by the Family Research Council, a hate group that blamed gay marriage for the recent mass shootings in Isla Vista. By speaking alongside these extremists, Archbishop Cordileone risks lending the church's authority to their vitriol and hatred - and undermining Pope Francis's call for a more compassionate church. We need to make it clear to Archbishop Cordileone that encouraging bigotry is unacceptable, regardless of his position on marriage for same-sex couples.

  • Save Iraqi Christians
The plight of Iraq's Christians has now lasted longer than a decade, and recent militant uprisings in Mosul threaten to expunge the neighboring Chaldean-Assyrian-Syriac villages. This preliminary campaign will help kickstart a transnational movement focusing on development of a sovereign territory for the indigenous Iraqis.

  • CEO Macy 's- Mr.Terry J Lundgren
I, Helena chin was employed with Stern's/Macy's since 1993. In May 2013, I made a purchase and was given samples as a courtesy. When I checked out with security, I was told it was too many samples. I tried to explain, but security grabbed the stuff and sent me home. I left the building feeling angry, then a few days later I was let go by HR on grounds of violation store policy. I feel this is unjustified, and unfair. I need to be heard. Macy's is like family to me, I love my job . Please Mr. Lundgren, look into this matter as this is giving tremendous stress to me and my family. Thank you.

  • Push Texas to protect Sexual Orientation rights.
I was fired two days after revealing my sexual orientation to my employer. The reasons for my termination weren't given to me during the time of my termination and it has lead me to believe that it is due to me admitting my sexual orientation as well as reporting the use of derogatory terms in the work place.

As a mother and as a christian woman, I feel it is important to stand by Meriam for her brave actions for standing up for her faith and beliefs. No one should be forced to renounce their religious beliefs, nor should her children be subject to see their mother treated in such a manner

  • TAKE THE PLEDGE
A little girl endured the ugliness of racism and ostracism because a white establishment could not digest the thought of a black child graduating valedictorian from a previously all-white high-school in Southwest Georgia. That little girl was me and I vowed to spend the rest of my life scratching out the cancer of racism from its core.

  • Protect Free Speech in North Carolina
North Carolina politicians are at it again. First, they passed laws to make it harder for people to vote and to deny unemployment benefits to tens of thousands of workers. Now, they’ve passed new rules to take even more rights away from North Carolinians. This time, they’re going after free speech. Right-wing politicians in Raleigh just passed changes to rules governing public access to their legislature. These changes ban protesters from chanting, singing or having signs and limit access to the General Assembly. This is a direct attack on the Moral Monday protests that have exposed the extreme agenda of these politicians. Don’t let them silence the voice of North Carolinians. Tell House Speaker Thom Tillis, Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger, Rep. Tim Moore and Gov. Pat McCrory it’s un-American, and to reverse the rules now.
