Reverse Injustice and Restore Democracy! For the past seven years, a fusion movement has been growing in North Carolina. In 2006, the Historic Thousands on Jones St. (HKonJ) People's Assembly Coalition was formed under the leadership of Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II and the North Carolina NAACP. It has grown to include over 150 coalition partners. Each year this fusion movement comes together on the second Saturday in February to hold a mass people's assembly to reaffirm its commitment to the 14 Point People's Agenda and to hold lawmakers accountable to the people of North Carolina. This year's annual people's assembly will be held in the wake of a powerful push back to the immoral and unconstitutional policies supported and passed by Governor Pat McCrory, Speaker Thom Tillis, Senate Leader Phil Berger, Budget Director Art Pope and other extremists in the NC General Assembly during the 2013 Session. After 13 Moral Mondays in Raleigh leading to almost 1,000 arrests for civil disobedience and 23 local Moral Mondays spanning the entire state, the Forward Together Moral Movement and the HKonJ coalition will join together once again for the Moral March on Raleigh HKonJ People's Assembly on February 8, 2014. We are calling on all people of conscience and concern to join us as we stand against the extreme and regressive agenda being pushed in North Carolina. This agenda is a reflection of what is happening across the United States. We need to move forward together, not one step back.342 of 400 SignaturesCreated by North Carolina NAACP

Writers Demand: More Freedom in Russia! The end of the Cold War should have brought about greater freedom for the citizens of the world. Instead, we're seeing a return to the politics of a less-enlightened time. As these issues seize headlines around the world, we'd like people like Vladimir Putin to realize that history will remember him according to what they did for people and for what they did against them. As writers, we represent the conscience of our country. We'd like to see something done.21 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eric Coates

Stop Celebrity Boxing Match of Zimmerman vs The GameThis match If allowed to occur will offer some sick form of justice for Trayvon Martin, and also offer George Zimmerman more financial gain from a child that he killed, again this is not justice for the Martin family it's a insult.31 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rocky Ford

Culture Factory PolymerFor over ten years, Culture Factory Polymer has been one of the most prominent centers for the production and dissemination of alternative art and culture in Estonia. Rep. Fortenberry, Restore the Voting Rights Act and Let Every Citizen Vote! The current behavior of some election officials and politicians is acting to deny poor, people of color, women and others the right to vote. Without the federal government's ability to oversee local election provisions, this situation will push American voting rights back over 100 years.568 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Alicia Graybill

Media, Leave Marshawn Lynch Alone! The Pro Football Writers of America say that Lynch should be forced to speak so us fans can have access to him. As a member of the 12th Man, we don't need to hear from Lynch if he doesn't want to speak. Let's show the PFWA what we really think about the lack of participation by our beloved running back, Marshawn Lynch. Go Hawks!1,171 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Blaine Anderson

New bipartisan voting rights act.To counteract legislation in Florida that restricts access to the voting booth. It's un-american, and unethical to try to win elections by making it more difficult to vote. In person voter fraud is a big lie and legislators know it. They have only one purpose with these laws and that is to win elections by rigging the system.477 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Manny Tavano

Pete, Please Help Restore the Voting Rights Act!I'm an old white guy who is not personally impacted by the Voting Rights Act, but I can remember the poll tax and all the other slightly more subtile ways that were used to keep black folk and brown folk from voting. I know Pete Gallego personally, and I believe he agrees with me about the damage the Supreme Court did to voting rights last year. Please join me an letting him know we have his back on this issue.193 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Alan Baker
