San Diego Police Department is currently attempting to remove exemptions for Non-Profits, holding fundraisers, forcing them to pay large fees and possibly declining to approve thousands of small fundraising events a year without providing the citizens the choice to vote on the issue under false pretense of Prop 26.

I am tired of my vote not counting!!!!

State Senator Pileggi not happy enough that PA, despite voting for more Democrats in US congress sent more Republicans due to gerrymandering; Now wants PA elections run like the Electorial College. One vote should count: this scenario would have given the winner(O"Bama) 12 votes & the loser( Romney) 8 votes. No wonder PA is rated 6 in most corrupt legislatures.

In Nebraska, two non-married people cannot adopt a child, no matter how qualified they are. Without this possibility in our state, so many children and families are being kept from valuable resources and getting denied being legally acknowledged as a family.

The facts show that nearly every Right to Work state has benefited from higher employment and increased revenue with these laws in place. This is win-win for the people of Michigan and its economy.

Personal vendetta against the indigenous races

The Ugandan government is just days away from adopting a draconian law criminalizing homosexuality. Gay and lesbian Ugandans could face life in prison or even the death penalty. Evangelical mega-church pastor Rick Warren has traveled to Uganda and preached against homosexuality and one of the Ugandan pastors who's led the fight for this horrific bill has spoken at Warren's conferences in the United States. So the last time the "Anti-Homosexuality Bill" was introduced in Uganda, human-rights activists successfully pressured Rick Warren into taking a public stand against the law. Faced with mounting international criticism, the Uganda government backed down -- until now. But this time around, Rick Warren is remaining conspicuously silent about the situation in Uganda, despite giving a number of high-profile interviews on other subjects. At a time when his voice could help save the lives of LGBT Ugandans, he's on CNN comparing being gay to giving in to a temptation to "punch a guy in the nose."

In October of 2012, Debbie Jordan, a Food & Beverage manager and Candidate for Florida State Senate (District 30) was called into her employers office and fired for associating with Democrats. According to Fox News, Debbie stated she was called into her boss's office. Her boss said, "So I heard you've been seen or associating with Democrats...Well, you're running for office, you can't be running for office". Debbie was then fired from her job as Food & Beverage Manager. Debbie, a mother of four, is the primary breadwinner to her family and an active Democrat. People should be concerned because equal rights is an issue that affects all of us as Americans. It affects me because my partner and I have been together for 33 years and just recently has the right to be married been granted to us in New York state but I think that we should be recognized as a married couple and have the same federal rights in every state in the Union.
