Important that people can participate in the world. More money moving through the economy is a good thing.

No person who works a full time job should be living in poverty. Now is the time to help hard working Florida families have a piece of the American dream.

You can't support yourself and better yourself with 40 hours a week at minimum wage. It takes an average of 92 hours at minimum wage to pay rent on the average apartment State wide.

Georgia has a vast population of poor people; wealth is not distributed fairly. We need corporations to treat their employee's fair, "blue collar, white collar, on the job training, technical or college". Earnest work is labor in the workforce. Adults need fair wages to rear the families w/o seeking governmental assistance if at all possible. It is time for Georgia to raise the minimum wage.

Our states' current minimum wage is $7.25. That's not enough for anyone to live on. We deserve an economy that works for everyone not just the wealthy and well=connected.

$7.25 per.hr. is not enough for people to live on. Workers deserve fair wages for their efforts. No one who works full time should be poor!

Too many people are being forced to live on and try to support families on a minimum wage that has been behind the annual inflation rate for too long. shame on all of us for letting this go on. (the people who pay the minimum wages think you won't!) Most of these people have to apply for and receive gov. assistance just to help them and their children survive. let's do the right thing! show them that we respect each-other even if they don't.

As a psychologist, I see many people who have stories of them doing well and suddenly having to change jobs and take minimum wage jobs to cope. I see so many people struggling to make ends meet and this way, crime would be decreased and people would be glad to work certain jobs. They know their would be able to pay bills and take care of their family. A $26,000 paycheck as a minimum would greatly help the economy and all people children and parents concerned. Food and essentials like insurance and car payments would be easier to meet. Most miminum wage earners are white, parents and have college degrees. Lets educate ourselves and behave humanely. Americans and our future generations deserve this.

I know what it is to be unemployed and/or under paid in America and it's not right to jus discount the poor and middle class hard working people of this state.
