• Raise The Minimum Wage In Ohio
    Our current state minimum wage is $7.95, and tipped minimum wage is $3.98. Everyone deserves an economy that works for them, not just those who are wealthy, well-connected, or both. Join me in calling upon our state legislature and governor John Kasich to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 and hour, and the tipped minimum wage to $6.25 an hour. If enough of us come together, it may be raised even higher. All we can do is use our voices, let your voice be heard.

    Having a standard minimum wage of $15.00 an hour is a good step in the right direction, however having multiple minimum wages based on how big a company is means more equal distribution of wealth. Currently there are three big employers that all have something in common, low wages for their employees. The big three are McDonalds, Walmart, and Yum Foods.
