Arkansas employers are still paying workers at 40+ year old wages. It's time the state leaves the sharecropper mentality behind and shows some compassion for working families.

Because it will help to reduce poverty, stimulate the economy, and restore faith in society to the people of Texas, giving hope to other States.

Currently citizens are subsidizing the income of workers paid an inadequate wage by their employers through SNAP and other assistance programs. Employers should pay wages sufficient enough to keep an employee out of poverty.

I want every person to bring home a salary for food on the table, a decent place to live and care and education for their children. Bring the minimum wage to $12 an hour NOW!

THE RIGHT THING TO DO

The current minimum wage in Indiana is $7.25, which is not enough for anyone to live on. We need and deserve an economy that works for every single person, not just those who are well connected and/or wealthy.

Because CEO's & their Boards of Directors are Conspiring to stealing from Shareholders and Employees and they are eligible to be Indicted under The RICO ACT, but no one gores after them, and they are driving the working class into poverty and possibly a revolution.

To expand the purchasing power of the majority of Californians, and thus bring an immediate big boost to California businesses and economy.

Because I will be hired for $8.00 an hour on a 99 cent store job. and I am a college graduate.

I have lived in Florida my entire life. When I was making $11.11 an hour in 1973, it was hard. I had two children to support, their father walked out on me for another woman, he NEVER paid child support and in fact never laid eyes on his son. I was left to figure out a way to support them, give them the best I could and help them grow into fine young men. It was the hardest thing I had ever had to do. I took in children to watch during the weekends, brought home work so I would never be behind. The judge once told me "you had them. it is your responsibility. I thought I would puke (4 1/2 months pregnant with my soon to be ex there with his fiance and that is what the judge SAID TO ME! I know as many many women who have been left to fend not only for themselves but their children how devastating this is.

Important that people can participate in the world. More money moving through the economy is a good thing.

No person who works a full time job should be living in poverty. Now is the time to help hard working Florida families have a piece of the American dream.
