HR 4170 is a not a bail out its a BAIL IN. Instead of taking money out of the economy HR 4170 will release millions perhaps billions of dollars from educated professionals all over Iowa and billions over the US directly back into a struggling economy.

Rich politicians from the Senate Committee on Education are ending financial aid for women and low income students. The committee consists of rich attorneys who cannot relate to Joe the Plummer or Harriet the Hair Dresser. Their kids don't qualify for financial aid so they are attacking schools with high women and minority enrollments. STOP THEM NOW or YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD COLLEGE. They are targeting YOU!

I was diagnosed with a learning disability just because I struggle in math and some of my daily living skills by my school and I feel that the diagnoses has prevented me from getting the job that I want to get into. I had to drop my case with my voke rehab person because he wasn't doing what I asked him to do. The reason I would like you to sign this is because I feel that schools need to do a lot of paperwork before they can diagnose people with a learning disability and schools also need to let the parents get involved with what is done to their child

We have recently learned that during the 2012-2013 school year Harper-Archer Middle school of APS will be receiving its fifth principal in three years. Our present principal is an asset to our school and community. We object to the disruption in the progress that has been made by removing our principal.

Forgive the Student Loans accrued by people simply trying to bette their lives. Most were young and taken Advantage of, not realizing the enormous amount of inerest associated with these "LOANS". A College degree and a jod with a good salary dosent really help when you spend the majority of your income repaying these loans or simply Defaulting on them, destroying your credit, and your hope for that better life. There has to be a better way!

This petition is requesting for Robert Casey Jr, a Pennsylvania State Senator to propose a bill. This bill is two fold. It would require private loans to have credit checks at multiple stages throughout a student borrower's career. First at admission to properly explain to the student and their parent how the process wil work so that they can decide if the loan should be co-signed or not. Then periodically during the semester when grades are given finally ending when the student graduates and receives their first job. This will help the student focus specifically on their major to graduate on time and find a well paying job to be able to pay back their loans. Through having the private lender paying attention to the student's finances they can tweak and make sure default rates are essentially lowered since they know exactly how much each graduate is making. The second part would be to propose federal loans be targeted to specific high demand jobs in the United States. This way the economy would be stimulated by having an influx of jobs in those areas that are sparse, allowing graduates to make a solid earning and be able to pay back loans without defaulting.

Approaching $1 trillion, student loan debt has eclipsed credit card debt in America. Economic observers are finally paying attention, citing student loans as a looming bubble that could present another obstacle as the U.S. tries to recapture its economic footing. Yet, there are simple and cost effective ways to fix America’s broken student loan system. Rather, they strive to create a student loan repayment system that is fair to borrowers and taxpayers and that would provide an immediate stimulus for the American economy.

In the past two years state appropriates in Pennsylvania have gone down significantly. Many current students and recent graduates have been forced to take out huge amounts of student loans because of the cuts.Support a plan that would have the State of Pennsylvania refund the state income tax of college graduates who stay within Pennsylvania for five years after graduation, and have that money put towards the graduates federal student loans.

We are asking the Senate to pass Bill 69 adding a clause about dating violence in the Kansas bullying policy for schools. We would also like to raise awareness of the lack of implementation of bullying policies in schools.
