• Time to move past Keystone XL!
The president vetoed legislation approving the Keystone XL pipeline, but the issue is far from settled. In a recent op-ed, House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised that they’re “just getting started.” We don't need another round of fights over an environmentally dangerous project. Instead, we need to turn our attention to projects that create good-paying jobs for the middle class and position us for long-term benefits. The far right has shown a willingness to rehash the same fights again and again. And you don’t have to look any further than the dozens of votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act to see it. Sign our petition and tell congressional leaders that it’s time to move on from this fight.

  • Stop Oil & Coal Trains in the Pacific Northwest
It's about the current threat to our ecosystem. The Oil & Coal Trains are hauling highly volatile crude oil in transport cars that have been deemed to be in unsafe condition. With the combination of higher volume of oil & crude along with sub-standard condition cars it is a ticking time bomb. Uncovered coal trains are contaminating the air and areas surrounding the railroads. The surrounding communities where the railroads travel do not have resources to respond to a derailment of this magnitude.

  • Tell Anheuser-Busch to support clean water
Beer, which is easily the nation’s most popular adult beverage, is made up of more than 90% water, and water is the only ingredient that can truly be called local in most beers. Every brewery depends on the local water supply — be it river, reservoir or groundwater — to craft their brews. Loopholes have been carved into the Clean Water Act that leave more than half our nation’s streams and the drinking water of 117 million Americans at risk to pollution. Thankfully, the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers have proposed a rule to restore these protections to our streams and drinking water, which has broad public support. Year after year, polls show that more Americans are concerned with water quality than any other environmental issue, and 87% of the million public comments on the clean water rule were in support of restoring these protections. Yet big polluters and their friends in Congress are doing all they can to block the clean water rule. Understanding that great beer takes great water, many of the nation’s breweries have come out in support of the clean water rule(1). Noticeably absent from those supporting the rulemaking is the nation’s largest beer company, Anheuser-Busch. On its website, the company claims, “Water is a key ingredient in the brewing of all our beers and vital to life on the planet.” That’s exactly why everyone – including Anheuser-Busch – needs the clean water rule. You can’t make good beer with bad water, and Anheuser-Busch — which operates a dozen breweries in the United States — relies heavily on clean water to make its popular products. Please tell Anheuser-Busch to make a clear and public statement in support of the clean water rule. 1. • Save Cape Wind
I want to support the heroic efforts of Cape Wind's President Jim Gordon to combat runaway Climate Change. This project has been delayed for 14 years by huge amounts of fossil fuel money and 26 frivolous lawsuits trying to run out the clock. National Grid must honor its commitment so this can move forward.

  • Mayor Derek Armstead: Exxon Mobil Proposed Settlement - A Bad Deal For Linden
For 10 years New Jersey has been fighting, trying to get Exxon Mobil to pay $8.9 Billion in damages for polluted land. The Christie administration agreed to a proposed settlement that would allow Exxon Mobil to pay just $225 million, less than 3% of the $8.9 billion in pollution damages the state spent a decade suing to recover. The affected area is literally right in Linden's backyard. As Mayor of the great city of Linden, I believe the residents need some rational explanation for the monetary settlement and specifics on how the contamination will be cleaned considering the loss of use, for years and years, they have endured to protected wetlands, marshes, meadows and waters in the city.

  • Geoengineering and Chemtrails
Many of us are realizing that the trails we are seeing in our skies coming from planes and jets are not contrails, but actually Geoengineered chemtrails. This is also called Aerosol spraying. Normal Contrails dissipate almost immediately behind planes and jets. Chemtrails last for several hours and eventually spread out across the sky blocking the sun's rays and changing our weather. Studies are now showing these chemtrails, or aerosol sprays, are destroying our health and killing trees, plants, bees and contaminating our soils and water. Tests from qualified studies have shown that the trails contain nano-particulates also containing a variety of sulfates and other molecular structures including aluminum, barium, and strontium. They are toxic to the human and animal body as well as the environment. Due to the size of these particles there is no barrier to the absorption and infusion of these particulates into our bodies, soils, water, and pets. Long term exposure to these particulates are very dangerous to our health with serious consequences to all life. In fact many studies show that in the last few years Autism, Alzheimer's, Dementia, and other neurological diseases are up more than 10,000 percent. There is documented scientific data and research to back this up. For those of you aware of the issues surrounding GMO's, Monsanto has created an aluminum resistant seed based on these geoengineering programs of dispersal that is now in place. For more info: http://www.soblueskies.com/999265038-article-library.html. Many suggest the chemtrails and the side effects of the remnants within the atmosphere have contributed to the state-wide drought of California and the declining health of individuals throughout the nation. People are standing up for their rights for health again, and it's time the government realize the responsibility it has to the people to protect our rights to breathe unpoisoned air, drink untainted water, and have unpolluted crops. Stop poisoning us with Geoengineered chemtrails and aerosol spraying.

  • Your Support Needed: Increase NJ’s Shore Protection Fund
Current funding of $25 million/year has not been increased since 1998. Coastal protection programs must include back bays, barrier islands and the inland waterways that are sources of flooding for coastal and urban communities. Shore Protection Fund's beach protection programs are an investment in our State’s $20+ billion shore tourism economy. Urge your legislators to support this much-needed increase in the Shore Protection Fund.
