Some countries have environmental protection as a main concept in their consitution. America has seen the extinction of several species of flora and fauna and the decimation of biodiversity and the pollution of air and waters. In America's past, poor environmental policy helped lead to the eugenics movement in the early 20th Century as more people were seen to cause just more pollution. Out of respect for indigenous America, to help stop Hate Crimes, it would be ethical to have an amendment to better protect America's environment. This would lead to better environmentally-friendly jobs, and help protect America's future. Panama has a strong environmental policy, and the USA broke it during the Vietnam War when they tested Agent Orange in Panama. The USA needs a better environmental outlook.

Xanterra Parks and Resorts Inc. is bidding to operate all concessions in Glacier National Park for 16 years. They are owned by one of the wealthiest billionaires in the nation, Philip Frederick Anschutz. His Anschutz Exploration Corp. is currently drilling exploratory wells to frack the Blackfeet Reservation immediately east of Glacier National Park. Fracking is one of the greatest threats facing Glacier National Park. It is unconscionable that the National Park Service would give such a coveted contract Phil Anschutz.

Maverick Farms stands to loose substantial portions of its productive ground from a proposed NCDOT project to REROUTE an existing dead-end road through our farm fields to build new culvert bridges. Please let the NC DOT know that you stand for family farms everywhere -- they are vital community resources -- and that Maverick Farms' place in building a viable community-based food system cannot be quantified.

My family has suffered debilitating ill health, by hazardous indoor air pollutants from our water damaged home! Millions of individuals and families are harmed by contaminants. Billions of dollars could be saved. We must address steps of improving indoor air quality in U.S. buildings. Our health should be our #1 top public health issue. The damage of sick, water damaged buildings lead to slowly deteriorating disease, while others can bring DEATH, quickly!

I believe many of my health issues and those of a huge amount of Americans can be traced back to when the crops started to be put in and our food started to be sold as a boutique product - instead of good healthy food by the Greedy Corporations ... Then everyone wants to blame the fat Americans and their health problems and cut costs...Vicious Cycle...

Norfolk Southern is proposing to expand its 47th Street Terminal rail yard in Englewood. The 47th Street Terminal doesn’t just handle rail but is an intermodal facility where freight is transferred from rail to trucks and vice versa. This will increase the size of the yard by 57 percent. It will also cause a significant increase in the number of trucks in and out of the yard. The project expansion would increase the amount of diesel soot going into Englewood’s air, worsening an already serious problem with air quality and asthma in the Englewood community.

Throughout the country, fossil fuel polluters and their right-wing allies like the American Legislative Exchange Council are working to roll back clean energy policies in a brazen attempt to halt our progress and protect their dirty profits.1 The latest attack is threatening Kansas's rapidly expanding wind power industry. The State Senate Committee on Utilities will soon consider an ill-conceived bill that would roll back Kansas's highly successful renewable energy standard, setting the state's clean energy economy back by four years. Senate Bill 82 would jeopardize Kansas's 12,000-employee wind power industry and could put a stop to new clean energy investments in the state.3 We need to speak out now to make sure Kansas remains one of the country's leaders in wind power. The attack on wind energy in Kansas is part of an orchestrated effort by the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a secretive conservative group known for attacking clean energy laws and pushing voter-suppression schemes nationwide. ALEC is a powerful player in Kansas Republican politics, with both Senate President Susan Wagle (R-Wichita) and House Speaker Ray Merrick (R-Stillwell) on its board of directors. At least four of the 11 members of the Committee on Utilities -- Forrest Knox, Julia Lynn, Ty Masterson and Mike Petersen -- are formally affiliated with ALEC. Tell the Kansas State Senate Committee on Utilities: Stop the attack on clean energy in Kansas.

I am consistently shocked to see how inefficient and wasteful our packaging of goods is. The value ratio of product to packaging is often obscene, and the quantifiable nature of the effects of excessive packaging, and its resulting ill effects on business efficiency, environment, and national welfare gives consumers and producers a tangible incentive to invest in responsible products. Due to the ubiquitous nature of the issue, any initiatives will quickly extend benefits to all environmental, social, business, and governmental spheres.

Clean air and reuse-recycle need to be made priorities in this state. Much of what needs to happen can first be addressed through education. The people of this state need to be taught and made aware of how their actions impact our air and our environment. Cigarette butts with filters DO NOT decompose! Put them in their proper place! Don't drop them on the ground as litter. DON'T LITTER! DON'T IDLE. As your car sits and idles it continues to spew unwanted fumes into our already polluted air. have mixed use recycle through trash collection which includes glass! All glass! Educate public about what can and can not be recycled!!!

Hydrofracking is harmful to our environment,the people,and the animals of New York State. Even if modifications are made,it will still be impeding on the natural course of things. For what? Money.
