New Federal Subsistence moose hunting in the Hope Alaska area is depleteing the small moose population tremendously. A moose was shot up Palmer Creek Road at 2:30 in the morning.(That is illegal)Last year only two of the 4 or 5 moose that were shot were legal. Of those that were illegal were two cow. Cows allways have @ least 2 calves. The hunters were caught but if 2 or 3 were caught how many others were shot and not caught poaching. Moose hunting in the Hope Area has not been legal for at least 20 years because the moose population cannot bare it.

I feel that the production of all types of deodorant urinal cakes and toilet deodorizers should be stopped and even made illegal. Deodorant urinal cakes are a huge source of pollution and it is forever changing earth's drinking water. If many huge warehouses are filled with urinal cakes, ALL of them are meant to be dissolved into our water sources. It's bad enough that we have to deal with detergent, bleach and waste petroleum in our water but urinal cakes are stupid because they promote covering up something that just needs to be cleaned up. Deodorant urinal cakes are in every drop of water that we drink and it's going to get much worse, soon. Please boycott the use and sale of these stupid pollutants and force these chemical companies to stop manufacturing these pointless chemical poisons for your toilets. This poison can not even be used safely in ANY way. Every single one is meant to be dissolved in our water. This is bad.

A C.A.F.O. is trying to force it's way into a currently forested area in a residential area in the town of Saratoga, WI. The soil is primarily sand and has a shallow water table with private wells as shallow as 20 feet deep. The C.A.F.O. wants to purchase 8,000 acres for crops and have a dairy with 5700 cows, calves, and heifers. The Saratoga water is at risk of contamination, in addition to 2 trout streams. The C.A.F.O. wants permission to install 47 high capacity wells. This amount of water draw will risk the aquifer and the nitrates will seep into the water table. Whereas most of our Country has many months and in some cases the entire year when bicycles could should be used as a significant means of transportation back and forth to: school, work, shopping malls/other stores and as a more general mode of transportation. Whereas many Americans continue to use fossil fuel cars for transportation and a significant saving could be assured by the use of bicycle power Whereas the use of a bicycle promotes health especially in weight reduction in younger populations were we have seen an alarming weight increase in part due to the semi-seditarian lifestyle of many Americans we can start to check said increases in weight and reduce them.

By meeting with oil and gas companies and expressing approval for hydrofacking in New York State, Governor Cuomo is putting our drinking water, our environment, our quality of life, and the future of our children and grandchildren at stake. As a resident of the Marcellus Shale Region, ground zero for fracking in NYS, my personal safety and the property value of my home are in dire danger. We are calling for Governor Cuomo to stand strong in support of New Yorkers and our drinking water, rather than succumbing to the financial desires of big oil and gas.

How is it legal for golf courses to pollute so much? Whole ecosystems are destroyed and waterways polluted and air polluted so a few can hit a ball with a stick. Look at the cost to benefit ratio. I have health issues because I lived near a golf course. Most people don't realize that golf courses are one of the biggest polluters in our country.

The midwest is in the middle of the worst drought in a half-century, destroying crops and pushing food prices higher. Despite the drought, ethanol plants continue to waste an average of 750,000 gallons of potable water EACH every day turning corn into ethanol.

Because of a mandate, the Renewable Fuels Standard, 9% of fuel must be ethanol, so 40% of our corn goes for fuel. The UN has asked for end of mandate to relieve world food crisis. Ethanol pollutes, is less fuel efficient and costs taxpayers money. A governor must make request to EPA.
