  • Ban Bisphenol A (BPA), a harmful chemical, from our food supply
BPA is a harmful chemical, that is an endocrine disruptor. This chemical is allowed to be in our food because the FDA refuses to ban this harmful chemical. BPA leeches into our foods and drinks because it is often in the lining of canned goods or plastic bottles. Pregnant women, children and people of all ages are presently exposed to this harmful chemical, which should be banned for the greater good of the people who consume goods stored in plastic bottles and food in cans.

  • No Fracking
My petition is not allow fracking to come into our state. About a couple of months ago was watching this documentary about fracking and the water was so contaminated it actually caught fire. People were getting sick from the water supply. I'm asking my governor not to allow fracking in Ohio Please dont allow your opinion and views on fracking go unheard . Stand up and speak out.

  • Remember the Aquifer
There were 2 issues about the Keystone XL pipeline going thriugh Nebraska. Placing it in the sandhills and going over, under and through the OGALALLA AQUIFER ! This issue is a major one and has become insignificant somehow. Even if the pipeline moves east, it will still go through the major water supply of the entire midwestern states.

  • Beyond Bag-Banning: Longer-Range Goals
Our environment continues to be trashed daily by people who don't know or don't care about the damage their littering and improper disposal of waste from their consumption is causing. I am therefore proposing some incentives that hopefully will make a difference before we completely destroy our planet and all the creatures that depend on it as a clean place to live.

  • You can't be serious to consider Hydro-Fracking - it is definitely dangerous!
Fracking is a dangerous way to extract gas and oil from the ground because most sites end up polluting our natural drinking water supply. Even if one site, and there are too many already, poisoned a water supply, it should not be considered as a way to continue to extract natural gas from the ground. And, there are many sites that have already polluted....just because the Oil and Gas Companies are paying people off so they can't speak out doesn't mean we should consider this process.
