Considering the ongoing, widespread danger that is being radiated by Japan's destroyed (but still leaking dangerous levels of poisonous radiation) power plant, there should duly be WORLDWIDE BAN on the building of these overly dangerous facilities.

This petition is about the DOT spraying our e-ways with chemicals. They are specifclly targeting what they coin noxious weeds. Yes, these weeds can block drivers views which can be a hazzard, but so is spraying with the chemicals. Why not have out of work Michiganders harvest these weeds, or put some of the MI prisoners to work harvesting these weeds to start a broom factory in MI?

He probably has good intentions, and seems like a nice guy, but we will see if he modifies his application after hearing our protest.

Las Brisas wants to build a toxic waste incinerator that will increase area pollution by 80 percent. Area medical societies argued that this plant will harm the public's health, particularly that of young children and the elderly. Signing this petition to the EPA will encourage that agency to refuse Las Brisas an operating permit because it will not comply with the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act.

In 2007 North Carolina legislators passed Senate Bill 3 (session law 2007-397). It was hoped to be a vehicle to improve the environment and economically benefit the state.
