• Save Tacoma's Stadium District 75 Year Old Historical USPS Postal Station
Rankos Stadium Pharmacy independently operates the 75 year old USPS Postal Substation in the Historical Stadium District of Tacoma, WA.  Rankos' Pharmacy pays for operations, training, staffing, ordering, renting the space, renting required equipment (we have a lease with the meter company and pay many fees), upkeep, and more.  Rankos' Pharmacy's team does all we can to provide excellent mailing services to our community.  We are independent and have been loyal, devoted, and served our community's mailing needs through USPS consistently over 75 years and through COVID -19. We offer this service to everyone in our community and we do so to provide the best service and mailing access possible.  People receive exceptional care whether they are choosing one perfect stamp for their important letter, or multiple rolls of stamps....everyone is valued and served with respect and gratitude. The businesses in the Stadium District are dwindling and we simply can't lose another service or entity.  We have not even had a pay increase since the early 80's and the USPS Station is a true, community service.    Our community will be negatively impacted if we lose the Postal Station.   This termination threat impacts people in our community who rely on us, our business, our staff, our morale, and our services. We do NOT accept termination of our agreement.  We are committed to decreasing all barriers to equitable access to our care and the services we provide. Thank you!!

  • Failures in Fingerprinting and DNA Collection Leave Offenders Untraceable: Phoenix VA Police
Because justice begins with accountability—and right now, Phoenix VA Police are bypassing the very systems meant to protect us. By refusing to fingerprint and collect DNA from individuals arrested for violent and serious crimes, VA Police are allowing dangerous suspects to avoid tracking, escape federal charges, and walk away unpunished. These aren’t technical glitches—these are conscious decisions to ignore the law. When federal agencies fail to follow DOJ procedures, sex offenders don’t get entered into the system. Rapists aren’t matched in CODIS. Cold cases stay cold. And violent criminals remain free to offend again. The tools exist. The laws are clear. But Phoenix VA Police are choosing inaction—and that inaction is putting veterans, employees, and the public at risk. If we don’t demand change now, we risk another preventable tragedy—another name in the headlines—because the system failed to act.

  • A Life Stolen. A Voice Silenced. Help Free Jose Muyet
Jose Muyet’s case represents a broken system that has affected thousands — especially Black and Latino men — with unjust sentencing, no physical evidence, and coerced testimony. His 30+ year incarceration isn’t just about one man — it’s about a system that too often values punishment over truth, and silence over fairness. Jose's story is important because it shows us that people can change, but the system often refuses to. Despite decades behind bars, Jose has found healing, purpose, and voice through his writing and personal transformation. Freeing Jose isn’t just about ending one injustice — it’s about calling attention to all the others like his, and demanding that New York correct its past mistakes. Because this could be your brother, your son, your neighbor — or even you. If we stay silent, the system never changes. But when we raise our voices together, we show that people care about fairness, about truth, and about second chances. By joining this campaign, you are: • Standing up for someone who has spent 30 years locked away with no evidence • Demanding that the justice system be accountable • Supporting a man who has already done the hard work of transformation • Saying: Redemption is real. Injustice cannot stand. Jose can't fight for his freedom alone. But we can fight with him. Your voice matters. Your signature matters. Your share matters.

  • CARE OVER CUTS - Petition to Senator John Fetterman: Use Every Tool to Protect Medicaid
My life is in danger and so are the lives of millions of your constituents. I have a rare form of leukemia that requires daily medication costing $23,885 per month. Medicaid is the only reason I can afford it. Without it, I would not survive. But now, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, recently passed in the House, threatens to take that coverage away - not just from me, but from 8.6 million Americans. If this bill passes the Senate, countless people like me could lose access to life-saving care simply because of their health. This is not just about policy. It is about life or death. We, the undersigned, are asking you - as one of our most vocal advocates for healthcare and disability justice, to do everything in your power to block, delay, or amend this dangerous bill in the Senate. Even as a member of the minority, you still have tools available. You can: • Filibuster or speak out on the floor to delay the bill’s progress • Place a hold to stop unanimous consent • Propose amendments that remove harmful Medicaid cuts • Work with Senate committees to demand revisions • Use your platform to raise awareness and apply public pressure • Rally moderate senators who may be persuaded to oppose these provisions We know where you stand - you have made it clear you are strongly against any bill that cuts Medicaid. We are asking you to lead by action, not just words, and to be the voice we need right now in Washington. Protect our lives and we will stand with you, our lives are in your hands. We urge you to use every tool you have to fight this bill and protect Medicaid for the people of Pennsylvania and across the country.

  • Inside Phoenix VA Police: Sexual Harassment, Intimidation, and the Culture They Tried to Keep Quiet
Because this controversy is no longer just about isolated complaints. It reflects a broader workplace culture and leadership environment that allegedly persisted for years within Phoenix VA Police under the oversight of Phoenix Veterans Affairs executive leadership. Key concerns raised by employees and observers include: • Allegations involving sexual harassment and sexually inappropriate workplace conduct • Supervisors simulating masturbation gestures within the workplace • Sexually charged comments and inappropriate discussions involving female employees • Employees fearing retaliation, professional isolation, or career harm for reporting misconduct • Female officers and staff leaving the department following hostile workplace experiences • Management officials remaining in positions of authority despite repeated complaints, investigations, and workplace concerns • Workplace misconduct remaining largely hidden from public view through internal administrative investigations and Privacy Act protections • PVAHCS "Executive Leadership" being aware of Title VII complaints, ORM matters, and workplace concerns from 2022 through the transition of VA Police oversight to OSP While substantiated racial harassment findings eventually became public through litigation and federal EEO findings, many allegations involving sexual harassment and inappropriate workplace conduct never received the same level of public scrutiny. This preservation effort exists so current and future employees, applicants, veterans, and members of the public may independently review the documented concerns, leadership history, and institutional culture associated with Phoenix VA Police for themselves.

  • Protect Artists' Rights: Stop Unlicensed AI Training
AI technologies are advancing rapidly, often at the expense of artists whose copyrighted work is being used without permission or compensation to train these systems. This threatens the livelihoods of working creatives who are real humans with vision, skill and soul; their work scraped without consent and used to train AI models that now compete for jobs, visibility, and compensation. This affects us all, not just artists. We need to set laws now before artists lose ownership of their creative works. Whether you're an artist, an ally, or someone who values human-made work, this is the moment to stand up for creative authorship, copyright, and fair compensation. Join us in demanding transparency, accountability, and legal protections for our creative industries.

  • Make The Perpetrators Pay
Making the perpetrators pay for the damage to the U.S. Institute of Peace is important for several ethical, legal, and civic reasons: 1. Accountability Upholds the Rule of Law When officials or agents of the government abuse their power, allowing them to walk away without consequence sets a dangerous precedent. Requiring restitution shows that no one is above the law—not even politically connected actors. 2. Taxpayers Shouldn't Pay for Political Vandalism The damage was not accidental—it resulted from an illegal takeover and willful neglect. If the public pays for those repairs, it rewards bad behavior and misuses public funds. The financial burden belongs to those who caused the harm. 3. Restoring Trust in Government Institutions USIP is a nonpartisan, congressionally chartered institution with a mission to prevent violence. If such an institution can be illegally dismantled with no consequence, public faith in the integrity and independence of government agencies erodes. 4. Reparations Are a Form of Justice Making perpetrators pay isn’t about punishment alone—it’s about repairing the harm done. That includes: • The cost of building repairs • Compensating wrongfully fired workers • Restoring operational capacity and morale 5. It Deters Future Abuses Without consequences, future actors may feel emboldened to repeat or escalate similar abuses. Restitution, fines, or community service send a clear message: you don’t get to break the public’s trust without paying for it.

  • Stop Trump and Palantir's mass data collection power grab!
The Trump administration is collecting our personal information — and giving Big Tech company Palantir our tax dollars for this dangerous WH surveillance project. Palantir’s founder, Peter Thiel, is a billionaire Trump mega-donor. Palantir has received at least $113 million from the federal government since Trump took office in January. Fears are growing that Trump and Palantir are compiling a master list of personal information on Americans that could give Trump “untold surveillance power.” Congress must call for an end to Trump’s insidious surveillance scheme and Thiel’s data collection cash grab. Government officials say Palantir’s tech could easily merge information from different government agencies — giving Trump a coordinated set of personal data on everyone in America. The data could include hundreds of data points on citizens and others through government databases, including their bank account numbers, the amount of their student debt, their medical claims, and any disability status. Elon Musk’s DOGE chose Palantir for this anti-democratic undertaking, giving fellow Trump mega-donor Thiel a windfall of cash. If our elected leaders stand by and do nothing, they will allow the White House to amass unprecedented power and a detailed look into our individual lives. Trump would have all the information he needs to threaten, persecute, attack, and punish all of his political enemies. Sign the petition: Stop Trump’s dangerous escalation in government data collection. SOURCE: New York Times, “Trump Taps Palantir to Compile Data on Americans,” May 30, 2025.
