Tell the Trump Cabinet: No tax return, no job.Donald Trump lied when he promised to release tax returns. He should not have anyone in the cabinet who has conflicts of interest and is unsuitable for leadership. This petition is based on a NY Times article of the same name.84 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Charles Dixon

We the People ask Congress, POTUS and VPOTUS to Postpone approval of the Electoral College Vote ...The CIA documented Russian interference in our election and Trump's deep unaddressed conflicts of interest throw the legitimacy of our election and the qualification of our future POTUS into question for every American! We must address this before the Electoral College vote is approved by Congress and Vice-President Biden on January 5, 2017.126 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Sara O'Bannon

Members of the Senate: DO NOT Confirm Rex Tillerson for Secretary of StateWe the people, feel that Rex Tillerson is too closely aligned with Russia for the position of Secretary of State. Our country and allies need someone who understands the complexity of the Middle East and Europe without conflicts of interests. In balancing the administration, we need some experienced candidates representing our country without potential conflicts of interest that will hinder the US agenda and our standing in the world.938 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Kathleen

Thank Attorney General Eric Schneiderman for proposing changes to NY election lawsWe thank Attorney General Schneiderman for taking leadership in reforming New York's election laws. The last election cycle highlighted many problems with them that made it more difficult or impossible for some people to vote. We applaud Eric Schneiderman for recognizing that making voting easier rather than harder is important for democracy and then doing something about it: proposing legislation to allow - Automatic Voter Registration of Eligible Voters - Same-Day Registration for New Voters - Online Voter Registration - Create a System of Permanent Voter Registration - Allow Registered Voters to Change Their Party Enrollment Closer to Primary Day - Adopt a System of Early Voting - Provide for "No Excuse" Absentee Voting - Ensure Uniformity of Poll Site Hours Across the State - Consolidate Federal, State and Local Primaries on Single Day - Enact Disaster Preparedness Protections -Increase Language Access - Protect Voters from Improper Challenges -Restore Voting Rights for Citizens on Parole - Enhance Poll Worker Training and Recruitment Thank you, Eric Schneiderman!439 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Mary Thorpe

Postpone Electoral College Vote Pending Further InvestigationIt is critical that Donald Trump's presidency not be confirmed by the Electoral College until there has been further investigation into Russia's alleged role in the 2016 election and the results of that investigation have been made public. Only at the country's peril can the findings of its intelligence community be so easily set aside. Likewise, the connection of several key Trump advisers and supporters of Vladimir Putin and other powerful Russians, cannot be reasonably dismissed as coincidence. This includes the newly nominated Secretary of State and current head of Exxon/Mobil, a recipient of Putin's special "Friendship" award. The possible risks to the world of the Electoral College voting without more information, are too great.1,649 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Carol Kleinmaier

Trump's tax returns and RussiaThere may be inappropriate ties that would greatly compromise American and global welfare in the event of a Trump presidency. This compromise would affect the US in particular, the world in general. If inappropriate ties are proven, Trump must not be inaugurated as President of the United States.345 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Kevin Hanlon

ACLU, support the Hamilton ElectorsMost states have adopted winner-take-all rules for their EC delegates. In recent days some have initiated draconian penalties for those who violate those rules. So far, a number of Democratic delegates have announced their willingness to back a reasonable Republican candidate if a sufficient number of Republicans can join them. Most who do so, from both parties, will place themselves at legal risk. We ask ACLU to pledge its assistance to this cross-party effort.146 of 200 SignaturesCreated by H D Edwards

Investigation into Russian interferenceI am starting this petition because I think it has some chance of creating a climate for bipartisan discussion and a way for the situation in which the country finds itself to be resolved so that all are served.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Carol Zeitz

Immediate investigation into Russian interference in our electionsOur intelligence agencies are certain that Russia interfered in our elections. They say there is STRONG evidence to suggest that - the goal was to hurt Clinton and help Trump win. The Russians want an end to economic sanctions and it appears that Trump will be much more sympathetic to them in this matter. This nefarious meddling in our elections represents an existential threat to the foundations of our democracy. Senators Schumer, Reed, Graham and McCain are calling for a comprehensive, bipartisan Senate investigation - they need other senators -particularly some additional Republicans - to join with them. This petition specifically calls on Senators Collins, Rand Paul, Flake and Sasse, as well as all the other Senators to support this crucial investigation.31,975 of 35,000 SignaturesCreated by Marea Baggetta

Declassify all evidence of Russian interference and host intelligence briefing for electors befor...Just one week before the Electoral College meets to formally elect our next president, a bipartisan group of electors sent a letter to the Director of National Intelligence James Clapper demanding an intelligence briefing related to Russia's impact on our elections in advance of their vote. CIA analysts have apparently concluded that Russia sought to influence the presidential election in favor of Donald Trump, and that Russia got the result it wanted. But the level of that involvement and what it means for our democracy is unclear because the CIA has not made the evidence public, briefed key members of Congress, nor fully updated members of the Electoral College who are being asked to determine the next president this coming Monday. The electors and the American public deserve to hear the facts. We cannot presume to know what impact Russia had, whether this should negate the election night results, or what it might mean for future elections until we review the evidence. And while it is unlikely to change the election outcome, Americans deserve the confidence in our electoral system that comes with clearly knowing the threats we faced and whether they had impact. The president has a responsibility, among his final duties in office, to give Americans the truth, and help us establish confidence in our democracy again. He can and must order the CIA to brief the electors and members of Congress in full before December 19, and declassify and disseminate the evidence for the public to consider as quickly as possible.252,919 of 300,000 SignaturesCreated by Justin Krebs

Presidential electors: vote against Donald Trump"Donald Trump received unprecedented support from a foreign power, has called for a religious test to enter the country, and will be in violation of the constitution on his first day in office because of payments he receives from foreign governments" - Diane Russell . He has refused to eliminate his egregious conflicts of interest and is clearly expecting to use the presidency to advance his business interests as well as to promote white supremacy and other fascist doctrines. His presidency will be an unmitigated catastrophe for this country and probably for the rest of the world.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard Novick

Show us the proof! The media tells us that it is the "consensus" of the CIA and other U.S. intelligence agencies that the Russians hacked our presidential election to help Donald Trump get elected. Yet so far no evidence has been made public to support such a shocking claim. With fairness of our electoral process being questioned and the risk of a military confrontation between the world's most powerful nuclear armed states, the public needs to know the facts.423 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Michael Eisenscher
