Change amendment for Electoral College voteIn 2000 and 2016, the Electoral College decided the Presidential election, not the people. This should change. According to the US Constitution, our state legislatures can help with this.40 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gladys caughey

End the Electoral CollegeWith Al Gore, and now with Hillary Clinton, it is obvious that the population vote doesn't matter. I want my voice to matter. I want my vote to COUNT.68 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Deborah Crews

Ask the Electors of the Electoral College to vote Hillary anywayThe Electors are the ones who actually choose the President, and in highly unusual circumstances can choose according to their conscience, rather than the popular vote of their state. This election is unusual enough to warrant Electors choosing what is best for the country.117 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Russell Hires

Voting Stations be Checked for Fraud or HackingI am EXTREMELY suspicious of the outcome of this election, especially after the candidate who won has been shown to have close ties to a hostile government while also insisting the election would be rigged against him.49 of 100 SignaturesCreated by R. End the Electoral College! The last time the Electoral College selected a candidate who did not win votes from the majority of the American people, the nation was plunged into war and economic chaos, leading to the Great Recession, the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sara Kiesler

Dismantle The Electoral CollegeU.S. Presidents are not ever elected via the popular vote because of a loophole called the Electoral College. Help now to make sure that the arcane, outdated system is destroyed for good! Despite popular belief, the U.S. Constitution does not provide for the popular election of the American president. It provides for popular election of presidential electors. Each candidate who qualifies for a given state's ballot must designate certain individuals who will serve as his or her electors if that candidate wins the popular vote in that state. When each state certifies a winner of its overall popular vote, that winner is entitled to send all his or her electors to that state's Capitol, where they will officially record their votes for their candidate. All the electors in all the states do it on the same day, the first Monday after the second Wednesday of December. This year it is Dec. 19, which is the latest it can be, just as this year's Election Day is the latest it can be. In these proceedings in the states, the winner of the statewide popular vote generally takes all the Electoral College votes, a rule stretching back to 1824.60 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Larry Martin Kimpel

Appoint Garland Now (Senate Has Waived Its Rights)I care about this country and see the Senate's blocking of Obama's Supreme Court Nominee to be unprecedented and unconstitutional. I think it's imperative that we make our voices on this issue heard, and quickly, while there's still time to take action.16,571 of 20,000 SignaturesCreated by M.L.

Dem Senators: Do not allow Trump to appoint Supreme Court JusticeTrump does not have a mandate. A majority of Americans voted for Hillary. Republican senators have refused to allow Obama, who does have a mandate, to have his nomination for Supreme Court Justice voted on. The case for Democrats against a Trump nomination is much more clear.90 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Onno Oerlemans

Abolish the Electoral CollegeThe Electoral College is an antiquated institution which was originally meant to disenfranchise the electorate at large. The President-Elect should be the person who received the most votes, period. This did not happen in 1876, 1888, 2000, and in 2016.87 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Do Lee
