Eliminate costly salaries of Congressional members and staff until they pass a budget as required by law.

Congress has become unproductive because all their time is spent on re-election. Too many congressional members have become too distanced from the American people. This affects me and every American citizen.

The lawmakers in Arizona have passed a bill that makes texting while driving LEGAL in the state! This is unacceptable! It sends the message to the "texters" that they have the RIGHT to put everyone else, & their cars, at risk. Even if you do not live in AZ, please sign this petition & save us from this narcisstic behavior.

I am outraged that members of Congress are allowed to exempt themselves and/or their staff from laws the rest of must obey. Any laws that are passed should exempt no one especially Congress less we develop into the masses and the privileged few. How dare the GOP and the Democrats collude to exempt themselves from Obama Care and "take the heat" together.

We need to know in which industries/"corporate citizens" our local, state and federal lawmakers have a vested interest. A man's mind follows his financial investment(s).

Several states have legalized or decriminalize marijuana, but it's still considered illegal by the federal government. This means people can still be arrested or fired for possession and/or use. It's time to change this law at the federal level so more states can decide if they want to do the same and citizens can be protected by the state laws concerning it.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has dropped a bombshell on Gov. Nathan Deal’s record of diverse appointments, or lack thereof. We were shocked by the numbers. 800+ appointments: 93% are white 70% are men. This does not look like Georgia. For the record, Georgia is 51% female and 40% non-white. So if you’re like us, you see something very wrong with these numbers. We need a state government that looks like Georgia. Georgia is diverse, Georgia is majority female and Georgia wants to move our state and culture forward into the 21st Century and not turn back the clock 60 years. We can do this. We can make Georgia the state we know it can be: a leader, once again, in the South. Georgia can be a state where people move to start a business and raise a family because we welcome everyone and support a strong and diverse community. Tell the Gov. Deal that we want executive appointments to reflect what Georgia really looks like and all the people who live in Georgia -- and not just who donates to the Governor’s campaigns.
