Monday February 4, 2013, the city council will decide whether or not our city will spend over $200,000 on a special election, an election that special interests have already begun spending toward having. They are doing a petition drive for a special election and a phone survey to find out who the best candidate to challenge me would be. Richmond needs this money in their general funds for city services.

Far to long good people could not run for office without giving special privilege to special interest groups. This has been a detriment to society. Its time that an level playing field be established. We need people to be given a budget and use that budget to get the most votes. This would stop all contributions to individual parties. No free or special interest groups buying advertisement time. Individual or special interest groups can go door to door to advertise their candidate, but no group will hire people to do this.

We need this in our state now. There are too many people suffering.

With the economy in massive decline and non-violent "offenders" being incarcerated for simply wanting to quell their depression, anxiety, nausea, insomnia, joint/muscle pain, or just wanting to relax after a long 9-5, this simple reform can help turn not only this state, but the whole country around and help it to prosper like never before for decades, even centuries to come. There are many issues confronting our State. But none can reasonable dealt without a sound without fiscal base.

Every congress member should be held accountable to all the people of the United States for doing the job they were elected to.Their job description should high light representing the people not corporations with under the table money.This should include doing the tasks at hand and stopping the additions to any legislation that don't represent that topic.The federal penalty should be dismissal,fines,and prison time commensurate with action.

Since it against the law to lie to or mislead police officers, judges, and congress, it should also be against the law to lie to, or mislead the people they serve. Please hold our public servants to the same standard they hold us to - it should be a punishable crime to knowingly lie to the American people. We the people deserve honest leadership.
