GOVERMENT TO LARGE FROM GRASS ROOTS TO WASHINGTON

Voting is a Constitutional right for every American citizen. Governor Rick Scott and Republican Legislators want to infringe on our rights by gerrymandering voting districts in Tallahassee. If they are successful, we should expect this effort will be replicated all across the State of Florida. Please sign this petition and stand up for the rights of all Floridians to vote and have their votes counted.

I am discussed with the continued miss use of good legislation to sneak in totally unrelated legislation to support special interests of one politician. This costs us, the tax payers, millions if not billions. If it is good legislations, let it stand alone. THIS MUST STOP.

It is time to have a person like this as we are coming out of our adolescence and need to begin defining what American culture is about, instead of letting others tell us what we are. So many of our friends even have a negative attitude about our culture, or lack of it. This is the proper area for the discussion of whether we are or are not a violent nation and do we now need to define ourselves in a new light. Everyone assumes they know what culture is, but I doubt everyone can define it, at least in our American context. The nation needs to focus on our life here and now as well as the future, and what we would like it to be. I think we need a lot of small discussion groups about this topic and then begin to support/educate ourselves.

This petition is in regard to the fact that nowhere in the Federal Constitution does it explictly indicate that the people have a right to a government that operates in an effective and efficient manner which achieves the intended porpose of the program. This not an attempt at Jeffersonian little government, rather, a mandate for responsible government.

Let's pass the same gun control policies that Governor Andrew Cuomo did for his citizens in New York.

State Law allows Commisioners Court and City Government to set the rules for Liquor Licenses and can allow these to allowing the selling of liqouor within 1000 ft for schools. We would like for the state to set the minimum distace to be 1000 ft from public and ,private schools. There should also not be any sales within 300 ft of a church, public hospital and residences.

Old constitution is obsolete and way too long citizens and congressmen need to form an assembly to rewrite the AL constitution

I personally cannot believe in this country any longer considering the lack of enthusiasm congress has displayed.

I yet have met anyone who would not prefer to have daylight savings time all year round. I think it helps our moods to have more daylight. I also know it gives us more time to do outdoor activities.
