  • Cut the deficit by reducing Congressional full time benefits.
Ordinary people are paying full time benefits and salaries to a Congress that works part-time hours. This is an insult to hard-working Americans.

  • FIRE ALL NON-WORKING MEMBERS OF CONCGRESS
We the people hired congress to make laws that are in our best interest. This congress continues to stall and do nothing about very important issues. There are millions of people who are being adversely affected by their refusal to do their jobs. If they are unwilling or incapable, we should remove any and all members of congress not performing their duties

  • Term limits necessary for congress
The US Congress is at a standstill constantly and it is clear what the issue is: too many people are putting their party ahead of what is best for the country. Term limits should be enacted to keep Congressman and Senators from getting too cozy with those who fund their re-election campaigns.

  • Count Every Vote in New York
The race for State Senate between Democrat Cecilia Tkaczyk and Republican George Amedore has come down to just a few dozen votes. A New York State judge certified the Republican as the winner, even though there are hundreds of ballots left that still haven't been counted, including ours! By failing to count our votes, we have been disenfranchised from local, state and federal races. As Election Inspectors, we have been trained to resolve technical problems to ensure that every voter has the opportunity to vote. It is outrageous that, because of improper guidance from the Board of Elections, our votes haven't been counted. In a democracy, every vote must be counted. And in the Tkaczyk-Amedore race, with the result so close, we can't know who really won the election until every voice is heard. The race is being appealed to the Appellate Division, 3rd Department, of the New York State Supreme Court, and the case will be heard Monday. They must count every vote!

  • Congress -----No Work NO Pay
Ata 78 years old, a disabled Korean Waar Veteran, who has worked since he was 9 years old. I am appalled at our elected representatives for all their posturing and hatred, greed and hypocrisy. They all make me sick. Thay have had more then a year to settle this mess that THEY created, ON purpose. Their hatred of a black president is so obvious. They are even willing to sink our economy and put me and a couple million others OUT of work just for thier own selfish wants. By the way, I am white. It is sickening. Now I hear they are going to give themselves a pay raise. OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!! Four years ago you took every other week off rather than stay in Washington and do the work we sent you there to do. This past year you have had more time off than you spent doing the peoples business. You do not seem to get that you are killing us out here in "We The People" land. If you deliberatly let this happen, you should never get a pay raise again EVER!! How can you dare give yourselves more money when you have taken most of ours away from us??? If you do not pass the fiscal bill, tax cuts, extension of unemployment benefits, and leave our social security alone, you deserve NOTHING! No work, NO pay. You have blown the money, not us. Accept respnsibility for your own stupidity instead of taking it out of our pockets. Wake up congress. We are wise to you. You are not getting the message. Maybe a jolt to your check, like you have given us, might makae a difference, but I doubt it. You are pathetic. Look at the log in your own eye, before looking at the splinter in mine. Leave our SS alone.

  • Petition for the United States Government to refrain from robbing its own citizens.
Do not cut my Social Security. I have been paying into it my entire working life. If it has been a Ponzie Scheme, then the law should deal with that, including me suing the government for the full recovery of the money I have been forced to pay plus interest and lots of people going to the Federal Penitentiary. If the government has money to provide subsidies to businesses making record profits and money to create several new billionaires in the Middle East, then it has enough money to refrain from robbing me.
