• Ex felons need employment
Over the years we come across alot of ex convicts reentering into society thats trying to find employment. The thing is some of these men and women who are looking for a job are highly educated, belong in a setting where they should be able to provide solutions to the communities problems. Some who have ideas and are fully equipped for council men and women positions in their communities in which they destroyed. The thing is no one wants hear there ideas or even give them a chance to help better their communities or lives so they resort back to criminal activity because they have families they have to feed. Some of these people even aquire degrees and still not able to utilize their skills. We have to help these men and women so they can be able to provide for their families. With all due respect they are people.

  • All guns must be insured
Every gun must be registered and insured just as every automobile must be registered and insured to operate in each state. We have all been affected by wanton misuse of guns. Insurance premiums should reflect the potential harm of each weapon insured.

  • Use the Fourteenth Amendment and Avoid Debt Ceiling Debate
We are at a crossroads where the president has another fight with the OBSTRUCTIONISTS in the KKK TEA PARTY and GOP about raising the Debt Ceiling. We would like the president to use the power of the 14th amendment and avert this altogether and do whatever he feels necessary to get this country working again.

  • Repeal Electoral College
For a long time, presidential elections have been decided by the electoral college, a group of people in each state which is "supposed" to vote for the people. However, we cannot trust the electoral college properly. While state electors are supposed to vote for what the people decide, they are not required to do so. Furthermore, it does not truly represent the people. This was evident in the 2000 presidential elections when George Bush defeated Al Gore not with the popular vote but with the consent of the electoral college. I propose that we change the system so that the preference of each state's candidate is decided by the people's votes only, not by these electors. The United States could easily increase government openness if it decided it's president by the popular vote. After all, we are not in the 18th century anymore where every decision is brought to Washington by horses. The presidential elections is a people election. The people should have the power to elect their leader, therefore I suggest we abolish the electoral college and decide election by the popular vote. In addition, we would still keep things like the electoral map as means to ease the process of keeping track to whose winning and whose losing.

  • Congress: Abolish the Office of the Attending Physician of the United States Congress
In 1928, Congress instituted socialized medicine, but only for itself, when, by congressional resolution, the Office of the Attending Physician of the United States Congress was created, whereby members receive medical services which they do not individually pay for, other than a flat annual fee (which has not increased since 1992). Since Congress is absolutely unwilling to even consider discussing single payer health care for the rest of the country, they should live by their own philosophy and abolish the Office of the Attending Physician of The United States Congress. This video really spells out the inequity of the system: http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=8709410 Background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attending_Physician_of_the_United_States_Congress
