• Fix Congress -- Stop Congressional District Gerrymandering
Fix Congress -- Stop Congressional District Gerrymandering. Congressional Gerrymandering is destroying our Congress and our political system. Elected Congressman from Gerrymandered Congressional districts have no concern for the American people. Congressman from Gerrymanderd Congressional Districs are highly polarized extemists. To save our Congress, and make our Congress responsible to the American people, we must stop Congressional District Gerrymandering.

  • Keep Congress Working for The People
This past congress has been found, statistically, to be the congress getting the least done in history. The congressional calendar requires very short work weeks and many holiday recesses. It's time American voters get their money's worth, and the way to assure this is to have legislators punch a time clock and get paid ONLY for the hours they are actually at work in Washington. Paying them for fund-raising, junkets and other time is of no benefit to we, the people.

  • Congressional Responsibility - End the Debt Ceiling Vote
Congress has a responsibility to work together without partisan politics, bullying the minority party and damaging the US economy. Holding the economy hostage to gain a political bargaining edge needs to stop.

  • "NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS"
Our economy is failing, if Amnesty is given to those who are knowingly coming here "ILLEGALLY" they will keep coming and soon we'll be overcrowded. Our elected officials are not holding up to the "Oath" they took to be in office and it's a smack in the faces of legal immigrants who obeyed the law, we have laws for fairness to everyone and this would not be fair period!

  • US Senator and Congressman Term limits
I would like to see all Us Senators and Congressmen have 8 years as a term limit. That will allow for new people to get into the office. It will allow for the United States to be run more efficiently with out all the corruption that we currently have in government offices.

  • SALARY ACCOUNTABILITY FOR CONGRESS
We have all been affected by the inability of Congress and Senate to do anything.. we are always approaching finiancial cliffs because they refused to do their elected jobs. If we refused to do our jobs we would be disiplined by our employers, wrote up, funds withheld until the tasks were completed or fired. The Congress and Senate are looking for ways to cut spending-- then I know how this can be done-- If we have an inaffective Congress/Senate their pensions, and pay should be targeted. For example, they lose staff, cars, paid vacations, etc. , and all this "much to do about nothing" would hopefully cease.. We are paying them to do a job and they are not performing. Americans need recourse-- let's affect their pay their incomes like in the real world.

  • US Politicians: Renounce Pledges - Reaffirm Your Oath
Our U.S. representatives have neglected the oath of their office by secretly signing pledges to special interest groups. These pledges secure financial and other forms of support for elected officials in exchange for unwavering commitment to special interest positions. Examples of these pledges include Grover Norquist's pledge never to raise taxes and the National Rifle Association's "questionnaire" that opposes legislation banning the manufacture, sale or transfer of commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms or ammunition magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. What "We the People" experience as a result of these pledges is the paralysis of the current Congress and White House in effectively serving the citizens of this country, and having our lives, liberty and pursuit of happiness held hostage by politicians hogtied to special interests.

  • Senate and House members beware
Revamping the current broken system. The aforementioned should have term limits and live under the same legislatrion they vote or put into law for the american citizens. It's time to send a message and take America back. They are elected officials and work for us, not the other way around. They should be under social security and health care as the rest of us.
