DISSOLVE HOUSE AND CONGRESSTo dissolve House and Congress. What have they done for all Americans during this emergency regarding the Fiscal cliff ? As far as I know, during the last four weeks they have left Washington either on Wednesday or Thursday and come back the following week on Mondays to make plans to leave again in two or three days later. They make around $ 200,000.00/year, with first class health benefits. This is the reason they do not care for the rest of Americans6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by EDGAR Hernandez

TERM LIMITS FOR CONGRESSThe President is limited to 2 terms. Many states and municipalities now have term limits for state and local offices. This reduces the likelihood of elected officials who establish themselves as a dynasty, complete with a full retinue of lobbyists, rigid agendas or positions, and an increasing inability to compromise to make good laws. The U.S. Congress needs people willing to serve, compromise, make difficult but necessary choices, then return to private life. There is no indication that "experience" from holding an office for decades produces better legislation or outcomes. The past 50 years show the opposite, particularly with regard to Congress' inability to act on a huge number of critical issues due to politicians' fear of taking a stand that might affect their upcoming election.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jenifer Callaway

2012 Election:Clear the airTo call for a complete investigation ot the 2012 election: 1) Was funding for boths side 'legal' ? 2) Was their 'voter suppression' or NOT? 3) Were the obvious attempts to 'smear' candidates ... and did those effort stay within the law? These, and other questions NEED to looked at and answered ... with an eye to - in the future - enforce existing Fed. Laws, OR to create enforsable Fed Laws and Regulations as needed.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ed Reiman

Freedom from religion actSince our political leaders seem to be disregarding "separation of Church and State" and are attempting to impose their religious ideology on all of us I feel it is time to create a "freedom from religion" clause to our Constitution. This amendment to the US Constitution would bar any party from introducing any legislation that reflects their religious viewpoint.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bill Vogel

TIME FOR MORE CHANGE !We need to change the rules when it comes to senators and Supreme Court judges. They should only be able to serve a 4 year term like the president . Because it will give us fresh new ideals.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Wayne Mitchell

Stop vote rigging and suppression: Go FederalVote rigging and voting suppression was rampant in most states run by republican governors. The Federal government should set up and operate elections for President, Senate and House. Most, maybe all states with Republican governors were guilty of practices that could fall under "poll taxes" and voter suppression.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mary Brady

DC politicians are incompetentMy taxes are going up, my medicare is near worthless, Can't afford to pay increased energy costs. Why? Because our president and Congress won't do their duty. Senate won't even bring bills up for a vote that would extend current tax rates. Senate won't pass a budget more less a balanced budget. Call and write your reps and senators. Tell them to do their duty as they swore an oath to do.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bill Schmidt

Petition for a Constitutional Amendment to Freeze Congressional Pay If No Approved Budget is Subm...The most basic job of the U.S. Congress is to propose a budget for Presidential approval before the beginning of the fiscal year. The entire U.S. Government continually runs on a continuing resolution because our Congress is unable to reach a compromise and establish a bipartisan and responsible budget proposal. No industry would reward their executives for such poor performance and neither should the U.S. Government.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Larry Lynch
