COMPROMISE - The "C" word. It is time or our great country comes together and embrace "WE THE PEO...I am tired of all of the bickering & hate that has stalemated the government in DC. The corporate $'s have 'poluted' the Democratic process - as our Founding Fathers originally intended. Are we meant to be subserviant to Oligarchs or Corporations? The 21st Century Dilemma. It is time for a discussions about REAL change.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Pat Nash

PUBLICALLY FUNDED PRESIDENTIAL AND CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGNSPut an end to the wasteful and obscene amounts of money spent on our Presidential and Congressional elections. Support and demand a CONSTITUTIONAL AMMENDMENT to mandate publicly funded federal campaigns of our elected representatives. The campaigns would last a maximum of 6-months immediately prior to the national election date. Primaries would occur over the first 3-months and the final or main campaigns would take place the last 3-months. The campaigns would include two mandated debates during the primaries and two debates during the final campaigns. No other monies from other sources, could be used by any of the candidates for their campaigns. Level the playing field, limit the influence of big dollar peddlers, debate the issues, and shorten the time of ad nauseum campaigning. WE HAVE ALL BEEN AFFECTED BY THE CURRENT ABHORRENT POLITICAL CIRCUS!1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by ROD OSWALT

Campaign Finance Constitutional AmendmentWith all the secrecy and big money surrounding political campaigns, our government officials are heavily influenced by outside interests. If a lobbyist, private citizen, or corporation can donate millions of dollars to get a candidate elected, aren't you worried they want something in return for that cash? As a result, we mostly get policies that are good for the big money donors but not what the majority of Americans think is best for the country. A constitutional amendment can end the unfair influence of private money in state and federal elections, and can provide candidates free and equal access to public television and radio to make campaigns about the issues and facts and not about the special interests.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nicholas Ferreira

Eliminate driver license requirement to voteRepublicans instated a law that requires citizens to show a drivers license to be able to vote. Lots of citizens don't drive anymore but still want to vote in elections3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Debbie cutler

Stop Politicians from LYING on National AirwavesPoliticians have gone overboard with brazen lies. This is becoming the norm in political debate: 'repeat lies long enough and people will believe them.' The FCC has the power to stop lies in their tracks, but has failed. National airwaves are a public trust. It is clear that trust has been eroded.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Steven C Tiell

Stop Ignorance on Political SpinsTo require that high school education curriculum, whether public, private or home, teach a government section devoted to recognizing political party "spin" and teach students to research actual facts, investigate the source of the facts, separate fact from faction and then teach students how to decide what they think.32 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ellen Wilheim

Fair and Democratic Campaign ContributionsOur government is increasingly becoming of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations. Lawmakers trade their allegiances for campaign contributions - from PACs, corporations, and billionaires alike. It's time for lawmakers to pledge allegience to their constituents. I'm calling for campaign reform, where contributions can only be made by registered voters to campaigns in which they are eligible to vote. No more billionaires from Nevada contributing to senate races in New York. No more PACs contributing to anything. No more corporations contributing to industry-favoring candidates and legislation. Only we the people should be able to contribute to campaigns of which we are constituents.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Benita Nelson

Rename McCarran International Airport "Senator Harry Reid International Airport"Senator Pat McCarran was a legendarily corrupt, racist supporter of fascist governments. His name should not be on Las Vegas' portal to the rest of the world. Senator Harry Reid has spent his working life serving the people of Nevada and the United States. He is a quiet and humble man, but his accomplishments deserve to be recognized for all time.23 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Launce Rake

Paul Ryan, Stop Telling Your Medicare LiesPaul Ryan is successfully lying to the American people, despite requests for him to stop by many Republican leaders and national media including Fox News. Polling already shows that last week's lies by Ryan and the five different major TV ads in key states have moved 10% more support for Republicans to improve Medicare. Such lying must be confronted by as many Americans as possible and stopped by the Republicans.21 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bob Alexander

Term LimitsMy petition would be about term limits for Federal Senators and Representatives in the House. This affects all of us. Unlimited terms contributes to elected officials becomeing more and more beholden to the big money lobbyists. It is easier for new 'blood' to get into oour Congress.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Martha Walsh

Limit Campaigning TimeThe campaigning has lasted almost 2 years with constant ads on television and calls on our phones. This is an entire invasion of my privacy. I pay for my home, my tv, my satellite service and my phones. I have registered with the do-not-call list. Yet these things are dominated by constant campaigning that I do not care to listen to and do not want invading my life. There should be a limit of 2 months prior to election for campaigning and politician should not have access to our phone numbers.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Esther B Rector
