Presidential elections are generally controlled by the electoral votes in a very few states. As in the elections of 2000 when the popular vote elected a president who did not serve.

We should sign this because every paycheck with 99% of jobs end, when the job ends. why should congress continue to get pay and health benefits when they are no longer in office?

Since we’ve had new Leadership in Lansing, Michiganders have been robbed of their jobs and Constitutional Rights in a deliberate effort to gut residents of any power to resist a corporate takeover. This reverse Robin Hood is quite similar behavior exhibited in a middle eastern regime. Just like the middle east corrupt politicians and the wealthy are controlling, destroying Education, keeping citizens impoverished, Destroying local Governments and Police Departments at a rapid pace, replacing them with the governors mayors and his State Police. Disproportionately in predominantly Black communities. Michigan is the 8th most corrupt state in the union and always has been, Democrat or Republican. Let Wisconsin be our inspiration.

We need to reform campaign finance in America so our politicians are not controlled by corporations and wealthy interest groups. The current race for Los Angeles mayor is set to be the most expensive in our city's history. And, believe it or not, just last month the City Ethics Commission voted to raise campaign contribution limits even further. This decision - like that of the U.S. Supreme Court in "Citizens United" - is an insult to the 99%, and has put this Great City's very democracy on the chopping block. We're calling on all candidates for Los Angeles Mayor to commit to establishing citywide elections that are clean, fair, and open to all Angelinos regardless of wealth!

All state and federal elected officials who write and vote on bills should be subject to random drug testing.

Whenever it is decided that SS recipients are not getting an increase, no President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Congress people or Senators should receive an increase in their salaries. And when there is an increase in the SS benefits, the % for all other Federal salaries may not exceed what SS increase % equals.

My son was born with a rare form of dwarfism he is only 3’2” tall at the age on 21. He has applied for SSI at the age of 18 and was told that he did not qualify because there is 2,000 jobs in the entire state that he was suited for despite the fact that because of his dwarfism he is unable to compete with an average person because his height and limbs are shorter making him unable to be efficient with office machinery; for example, unable to reach copy machine without assistance, unable to type with speed and accuracy, unable to drive without special attachment. His dwarfism also makes it a safety issue for most entry level jobs available to his peers such as fast food.

It is time our country have term limits in House and Senate. We have got to stop power grabing individuals that are supposed to work for their Employers. We The People. In our Senate one (1) six (6) year term. In our House three (3) two (2) year terms if reelected. We have to stop the insanity.

We, the People, are disgusted with the constant in-fighting in Washington and in State politics.

We should have a cap on all in our Government on their pay. Along with the cap on pay when those in office in our Government leave that office their pay stops. Except for what they have saved for pensions and retirement. When they leave office they get a job, like the people of this country do, and do NOT continue to collect year after year their same pay while they were IN office. It stops, along with lifetime medical coverage. They pay their own medical coverage. 3 things. Cap on pay at $250,000, No lifetime medical and NO continuance of pay when they leave office.
