  • Establish a Congressional Truth & Origin Commission to Restore Indigenous Stewardship/Ownership/Heir
The importance of this campaign, and why others should join, is rooted in the necessity of correcting historical truth and establishing a future built on sovereign authority rather than administrative erasure.   Why This Campaign Is Important  Restoration of Historical Truth: The campaign addresses the systemic misclassification of Indigenous populations, which has suppressed identities and erased the legal and cultural recognition of these Nations for centuries.    Reclaiming Stewardship: It is essential for the return of control over ancestral lands, resources, and cultural heritage, which were often stripped away through displacement, flooding of ancestral towns, or the destruction of sacred burial sites.    Enforceable Justice: By framing restoration as an "administrative correction" grounded in federal and international statutes—such as NAGPRA, the Marshall Trilogy, and UNDRIP—the campaign transforms abstract grievances into actionable, legally sound demands.    Breaking Cycles of Trauma: It addresses the intergenerational impact of historical trauma, including the forced assimilation and marginalization that resulted from being mislabeled under obsolete categories like "Negro" or "slave".   Why Others Should Join the Campaign  Participation in a Factual Correction: Joining this effort means contributing to a monumental shift in history where the record is corrected to reflect the actual, documented identity of the original inhabitants of the Americas.    Supporting Sovereign Autonomy: By supporting this cause, allies and stakeholders help create the framework for Nations to manage their own education, economic systems, and cultural preservation, ensuring future generations are not defined by historical misclassification.    Upholding Universal Rights: This campaign advocates for principles of self-determination recognized internationally; supporting it aligns one with the global movement for Indigenous rights and the protection of cultural integrity.    Building a Legacy of Justice: The campaign is not merely about the past; it is about establishing a precedent where justice is not a favor granted, but a truth recognized, creating a foundation for equitable treatment and sustainable development for all historically misclassified peoples.   This movement seeks to honor the "rightful custodians" of the land by ensuring that the "story and authority" of these Nations is restored through "incontrovertible historical evidence".

Your signature tells lawmakers that we will not let our most vulnerable communities be ignored. You are demanding better roads for your hard-earned money: We are all tired of paying wheel taxes only to drive over potholes that damage our cars. By signing, you are demanding that lawmakers use hemp tax revenue to fix our broken infrastructure instead of letting that money disappear into a black market. You are fighting for our children’s health and safety: No child should have to go to a school riddled with mold, and no community should have to settle for unfinished, rushed renovations. • WE SAY NO TO DATA CENTER
We, the undersigned residents, business owners, and supporters of Pensacola, respectfully urge the City of Pensacola to reconsider and reject any proposal involving the development of a large-scale hyper data center within or near our communities.  While we understand the importance of economic growth and technological advancement, we believe this project raises serious concerns that deserve greater public discussion, transparency, and long-term consideration before any approval is granted.  Our concerns include:  1. STRAIN ON INFRASTRUCTURE  Hyper data centers require enormous amounts of electricity and water to operate. Pensacola residents are already concerned about rising utility costs, aging infrastructure, and storm resiliency. Introducing a facility with such extreme demand could place additional stress on our power grid, water supply, and emergency systems. 2. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT  Pensacola is known for its natural beauty, waterways, wildlife, and coastal environment. Large industrial-scale developments may increase heat output, noise pollution, land disruption, and environmental risks that could permanently impact nearby neighborhoods and ecosystems. 3. LIMITED COMMUNITY BENEFIT  Many residents feel these facilities offer limited long-term employment opportunities compared to the amount of land, resources, and tax incentives often provided. Our city should prioritize developments that create stronger local economic impact, small business growth, workforce opportunities, affordable housing solutions, and community-centered revitalization. 4. PRESERVING THE CHARACTER OF PENSACOLA  Pensacola is a historic coastal city built on culture, tourism, neighborhoods, and community connection. Residents are concerned that introducing massive industrial-style developments could change the identity and atmosphere of our city in ways that cannot be reversed. 5. NEED FOR PUBLIC INPUT AND TRANSPARENCY  Many citizens feel they have not been adequately informed or included in discussions surrounding this proposal. Decisions of this scale should involve open town halls, environmental studies, public hearings, and direct community engagement before moving forward.

  • Lower Rx Prices!
The skyrocketing cost of prescription drugs is not happening by accident. It is the result of a broken system that has allowed drug companies to set prices with little accountability and even less relief for the patients who depend on their products. No one should have to ration their medication to make rent or pay for groceries. And no person should have to go without treatment because the drug that could help them is priced out of reach. It’s time for Congress to use its power to finally address this problem. Lowering the cost of Rx drugs is one meaningful step that Congress can take to help millions of Americans access essential medications and ease some of the financial pressure on families already struggling with rising costs. Add your name and demand Congress take meaningful action to lower prescription drug costs.

  • Rejoin the World Health Organization!
The WHO is responsible for coordinating international health efforts and plays a critical role during outbreaks of deadly diseases like hantavirus. A handful of people have tested positive for the disease in France, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States, demonstrating the need for nations to work together. But earlier this year, Trump formally withdrew the United States from the WHO, terminating all funding to the body, removing all embedded personnel, and ending participation in WHO-sponsored committees, leadership bodies, governance structures, and technical working groups.  While the Trump administration tries to provide a patchwork approach to global health, Americans are left vulnerable without the broad network of monitoring and support provided by the WHO. And during an outbreak, the stakes are higher than ever. Sign the petition now calling on the Trump administration to rejoin the World Health Organization!

  • Remove ALL medical debt from credit reports!
Right now, the three largest consumer credit agencies—Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian—are still choosing to allow medical debt to appear on credit reports, despite no law requiring them to do so. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has found that medical debt is the most common type of debt in collections. Yet it is one of the weakest predictors of whether someone will be able to repay it, because you don't choose an emergency. Fortunately, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion have caved to public pressure before. And with millions of families struggling, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion have the power to provide real, immediate relief by stopping something they were never required to do in the first place. Add your name to demand that Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion grant relief to families and permanently remove medical debit from consumers' credit reports.

  • Doula Training to Reduce Maternal Mortality Among African American Women in Georgia
People should join this campaign because it addresses a life-or-death public health crisis that is both preventable and deeply rooted in inequity. In Georgia, African American women are significantly more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than any other group, and data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that most of these deaths could be prevented with timely, appropriate care. Supporting this campaign means taking a stand for evidence-based solutions that can directly save lives. This effort is not abstract—it focuses on a clear, proven intervention. Doula support has been shown to improve birth outcomes, reduce complications, and ensure that patients are heard within healthcare settings. By advocating for a statewide doula training program through the Georgia Department of Public Health and the Georgia Board of Public Health, this campaign pushes for a solution that is both practical and backed by research. Joining the campaign means supporting a strategy that works. There is also a strong equity component. The Georgia Maternal Mortality Review Committee has found that a majority of maternal deaths in the state are preventable, and many are tied to systemic issues like bias, lack of access, and gaps in communication. This campaign directly addresses those barriers by promoting culturally competent care and community-based support. Participation signals a commitment to reducing racial disparities and improving outcomes for marginalized communities. Beyond the moral imperative, there is a broader community impact. Healthier mothers mean stronger families, more stable communities, and reduced long-term healthcare costs. When maternal health improves, infant outcomes improve as well, creating generational benefits. Supporting this campaign is an investment in the well-being of entire communities across Georgia. Finally, joining this campaign gives individuals a way to turn concern into action. Many people are aware of health disparities but feel unsure how to make a difference. This initiative offers a concrete path: advocate, raise awareness, and push for policy change that can have measurable, lasting impact. It transforms awareness into collective action. In short, people should join this campaign because it is urgent, evidence-based, equity-focused, and capable of creating real change.

  • No Hyperscale Data Centers or Data Center Campuses in DeKalb County!
Background The growth of artificial intelligence (AI) is driving rapid expansion of in data infrastructures, including hyperscale data centers and data center campuses, fossil fuel power plants, and transmission lines. Data centers consume vast amounts of water and power and are expected to cost Georgia residents $2.5 billion in tax breaks in 2027 alone. The Public Service Commission (PSC) recently approved Georgia Power's request for 10GW of additional natural gas power generation, despite data centers only having made 3GW worth of power commitments. In fact, Georgia Power's demand estimates only have a 1 in 500 chance of realizing, almost guaranteeing that Georgia residents will bear the cost of power expansions via rate increases down the road. Adding insult to injury, long-term job creation is limited at best and one of the major AI companies driving data center expansion says a white-collar Great Recession is not off the table. Recent research suggests that data centers create miles-wide heat islands and emit dangerous levels of infrasound, sound waves that fall below the range of human hearing but have a broad range of health impacts. Research on potential health and environmental effects is often overlooked, begging the question: What other harms of data center development will we discover after it's too late?

  • Preserve the right to use kratom
    1. It helps real people Many individuals report that kratom supports: Chronic pain management Reduced anxiety or stress Energy and focus for work Transitioning away from stronger substances For some, it’s the difference between functioning and struggling day to day. 2. It can be part of the solution to bigger problems With ongoing concerns around the opioid crisis, people are looking for alternatives. Some advocates believe kratom offers a lower-risk option compared to prescription opioids or illicit drugs. 3. Personal freedom matters Adults should have the right to choose natural supplements, especially when used responsibly. Supporting kratom is, for many, about protecting that freedom. 4. Smart regulation is better than bans Joining the effort doesn’t mean “no rules.” Most supporters actually want: Age restrictions Product testing and labeling Safe manufacturing standards This protects users without taking the option away. 5. Bans can backfire If kratom is made illegal: People may turn to more dangerous substances Black markets can grow Safety decreases instead of improving 6. It gives people a voice Lawmakers listen when enough people speak up. Joining shows that this issue matters to everyday citizens—not just companies or lobbyists. ITS JUST PLAIN GOVERNMENT OVERREACH!!!  MY BODY MY CHOICE

  • Help the Girl Scouts!!
Normally, our cookie season runs from January to March, when temperatures are the coldest. Many of our local businesses will not allow our girls inside, which forces us to stand outside and deal with freezing cold temperatures like wind, snow, ice, etc., as well as having to cancel booths due to bad/unsafe weather. Parents have concerns about their girls getting sick, which makes them hesitant to sign them up for these outdoor booths. And the girls are losing out on cookie selling opportunities. The girls and our volunteers also know first-hand what it feels like to lose feeling in our hands, fingers, toes, etc., despite how many "hot hands" we use, especially the girls who work a full day just to try and meet their goals. Our girls continue to push past the extreme discomfort of being outside, in the cold for hours, and work hard to sell as many cookies as they can, to earn money for trips and activities, as well as cookie prizes. But our hope is enough people will sign this petition so we can get Girl Scouts of Eastern PA, or maybe even Girl Scouts of America, to move our cookie season to slightly warmer months. Thank you in advance for your support of our cause!
